About the role
This role owns and grows the company's social media presence, primarily across Instagram and Facebook.
This role is responsible for creating consistent, engaging content, managing the company's online presence, tracking performance, and using data to drive growth and credibility.
A strong storytelling ability is an important secondary skill for this role — the right person knows how to recognize a great story, capture authentic moments, and turn them into content that connects with our audience.
We are looking for a Level 2 person who can own the social media channel, set the direction, and run it independently without day-to-day management.
We are looking for someone who can step into the role with ownership and take responsibility for the channel rather than requiring ongoing training or direction to execute the work.
The focus of this role will be more heavily centered on branding specialty, while still owning the day-to-day social media presence, content, storytelling, performance, and growth outlined below.
The ideal person should be able to take the lead on the channel, identify what needs to be done, set priorities, and execute without the team needing to manage the work day to day.
Responsibilites:

Create, schedule, and publish consistent content
Build and manage the social media content calendar
Create posts, reels, stories, graphics, and short-form video content
Write captions, hooks, and calls-to-action
Stay current with social media trends and platform best practices
Maintain a consistent, professional, and credible online presence
Help grow our audience and strengthen our online credibility
Storytelling
Secondary skill — the ability to recognize a great story and turn it into content that connects.
Identify compelling stories within our students, coaches, clients, team, and events
Capture authentic moments and behind-the-scenes content
Turn wins, experiences, and transformations into engaging content
Help develop testimonials and success stories
Understand how to tell a story through short-form content
Look for moments that create connection, emotion, and trust
Data, Metrics & Growth
Use performance data to drive content strategy and audience growth.
Track weekly and monthly social media performance
Monitor follower growth, reach, views, engagement, shares, saves, and leads
Identify top-performing and underperforming content
Use data to improve content and posting strategy
Set and track monthly growth goals
Test different content, hooks, formats, and strategies
Provide regular reporting on social media performance
Focus on growth, engagement, credibility, and measurable results
Event & Content Support
Capture social content at key events and company experiences
Collect photos, videos, testimonials, and behind-the-scenes moments
Identify content opportunities in real time
Turn event experiences into content before, during, and after events
This role works weekly with the team, with additional availability for partial weekend hours to support event capture and posting.
