About the Role:
A creative, detail-oriented, and execution-driven Social Media & Content Operations Associate is needed to support a fast-growing personal brand and content-driven business.
This role is ideal for someone who is strong in video editing and content creation, with a solid understanding of how content performs across platforms like YouTube and Instagram. The primary focus is on executing high-quality content — editing videos, repurposing content, and supporting consistent publishing — while gradually taking on additional responsibilities as systems and SOPs are introduced.
The ideal candidate is both creative and operational, capable of turning long-form content into engaging short-form assets while staying aligned with brand voice and performance goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Video Editing & Content Repurposing
- Edit long-form content such as podcasts and YouTube videos into polished final outputs
- Clip podcast and speech content into short-form videos (Reels, Shorts)
- Edit and produce high-performing short-form content optimized for social media
- Edit podcast audio as needed for publishing
Social Media Content Creation
- Create engaging social media assets including carousels, thumbnails, and short-form content
- Turn podcast episodes into carousel posts and visual content
- Create captions, hooks, and written content for posts
- Repurpose testimonials, screenshots, and existing assets into social-ready content
Content Publishing & Execution
- Upload and schedule content across platforms using tools such as Metricool
- Ensure consistent content output and maintain content pipeline ahead of schedule
- Support execution of email and SMS campaigns using tools like GHL
- Assist in daily engagement activities (e.g., commenting, responding to interactions)
Content Performance Tracking (Low Priority - Training will be provided)
- Track key performance metrics across platforms including:
- YouTube (views, subscribers)
- Instagram (followers, growth, engagement)
- Email marketing (open rates, click rates)
- SMS campaigns (responses, conversions)
- Identify top-performing content and provide insights for optimization
Content Planning & Optimization (Low Priority - Training will be provided)
- Assist in planning content aligned with launches, campaigns, and key dates
- Suggest new content ideas based on trends and performance insights
- Monitor competitor content and identify opportunities for improvement
- Continuously improve content quality and performance through iteration
Qualifications & Ideal Traits:
- Strong experience in video editing (required)
- Experience editing for YouTube, Reels, or short-form social content
- Familiarity with content repurposing and social media trends
- Basic graphic design skills (thumbnails, carousels) preferred
- Understanding of social media platforms (Instagram, YouTube, etc.)
- Experience with tools like Metricool, Asana, or similar is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow brand guidelines
- Highly organized and able to manage multiple content outputs
- Creative mindset with an eye for engaging and high-performing content
- Willingness to learn additional tasks and grow within the role
