Our client is a busy entrepreneur and business leader seeking a Social Media & Content Assistant to build the systems, workflows, and creative processes that make content creation seamless, consistent, and sustainable. This individual is developing a refined personal brand centered around business, lifestyle, and personal moments, and is looking for an organized professional who can bring structure, creativity, and proactive execution to their content operation.
The Social Media & Content Assistant will be responsible for building and managing the operational systems behind the client's personal content strategy. The Social Media & Content Assistant will oversee content planning, workflow management, social media publishing, asset organization, production coordination, and cross-platform content repurposing while collaborating with photographers, videographers, editors, and the client. This role is ideal for someone who combines strong organizational skills with a creative eye and enjoys bringing structure to fast-moving content environments.
Fully Remote | 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM EST
Design and maintain end-to-end workflows for content planning, creation, approvals, and publishing.
Build systems that simplify real-time content capture and reduce production bottlenecks.
Create processes for organizing, managing, and repurposing evergreen content.
Develop structured workflows for internal and external collaborators.
Continuously improve systems to increase efficiency and scalability.
Manage weekly and monthly content calendars across social media platforms.
Monitor the client's personal and professional schedule to identify content opportunities.
Prepare mood boards, shot lists, filming schedules, and content plans.
Communicate filming priorities and ensure deadlines are met.
Keep content production proactive rather than reactive.
Manage daily Instagram feed and Stories publishing.
Recommend content formats based on platform trends and performance.
Design Story graphics using Canva.
Edit short-form video content using CapCut when needed.
Coordinate deliverables with external editors and creative partners.
Engage strategically with a curated list of social media accounts.
Build and maintain an organized library of photo and video assets.
Ensure content is properly categorized, searchable, and reusable.
Identify opportunities to repurpose existing assets into new content.
Own the editorial calendar and publishing schedule.
Coordinate timelines for bi-weekly long-form newsletters.
Plan and publish short-form Substack updates throughout the week.
Build a sustainable content pipeline that stays ahead of schedule.
Adapt content for LinkedIn, TikTok, Threads, and Substack.
Ensure content aligns with the unique requirements of each platform while maintaining a cohesive personal brand.
Coordinate photographers, videographers, and creative vendors.
Track projects from production through final delivery.
Follow up with collaborators to ensure deadlines and deliverables remain on schedule.
1-3 years of experience in social media management, content operations, executive support, content marketing, or a related role.
Experience managing content calendars and publishing workflows.
Experience coordinating creative production with photographers, videographers, or editors.
Experience supporting personal brands, founders, executives, influencers, or content creators is highly preferred.
Experience managing multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
Strong project management and organizational skills.
Excellent written and verbal English communication.
Strong understanding of Instagram and modern social media best practices.
Strong creative eye with an appreciation for elevated, editorial-style content.
Ability to proactively anticipate priorities and manage competing deadlines.
Experience creating scalable content systems and workflows.
Strong attention to detail and follow-through.
Experience using Canva, CapCut, Instagram, Substack, LinkedIn, TikTok, Threads, Google Workspace, ChatGPT, Claude, Notion, Asana, ClickUp, Monday.com, or similar productivity and project management tools.
Content is consistently planned, created, and published without last-minute stress.
Content systems become organized, scalable, and easy to maintain.
Daily Instagram posting and Substack publishing schedules are consistently met.
Creative assets remain organized, searchable, and effectively repurposed.
Production timelines stay on track through proactive coordination.
The client spends less time managing content logistics and more time creating meaningful content.
