Job Description

Technical Skills – Solution Area: AI Business Solutions, SharePoint on premise and M365 SPO

We need individuals that:

• Possess deep technical expertise in at least one technical specialty and can solve complex technical problems through sound, creative troubleshooting. You will also need to be able to examine possible workarounds and escalations as required.
• Set an example of excellence as a Microsoft representative, enhancing the company's image and reputation through your credibility, preparation, commitment, and first-class delivery.
• Demonstrate strong communication skills; ability to develop strategic on-going customer relationships, gain trust and respect for the company. Engineers must also possess strong technical writing, presentation and training skills.
• Communicate at all levels from CIO to the technical staff on the ground.

Expertise Required
• Experience in the enterprise customer arena and track record with delivering enterprise-grade SharePoint solutions
• Face-to-face customer engagement skills
• Excellent written, oral and presentation skills
• Troubleshooting knowledge & skills
• Degree qualification or equivalent experience
• Good understanding of ITIL/Service Management
• Passion for new innovative technology and drive customer transformation
• Demonstrate effective balance between business and technical acumen
• Ability to effectively recognize and adapt to change
• Ability to deliver presentations and discuss complimentary products at a solutions level
• Ability to handle customer critical issues and work in difficult situations
• Experience delivering proactive services, such as workshops and technical assessments.

Role Requirements
• Security Clearance: preferred but not mandatory
• Language: Fluent in German and English (written and oral communication)
• Travel: required, mix of remote and onsite engagement
• Location: location near Cologne/Bonn, Hamburg or Berlin preferred but not mandatory

Technical Expertise Required

SharePoint On Premise
• Deep understanding in SharePoint on premise for 2016, 2019 and Subscription Edition (Level 300-400)
• SharePoint experience in the following areas is required: architecture/ Topology, SharePoint Basics: Create Sites, Lists, Manage Permissions etc., Troubleshooting skills, Disaster Recovery scenarios, SharePoint Service Applications, Managing, maintaining and migrating Enterprise SharePoint Server, Upgrading between SharePoint versions, Scaling Enterprise SharePoint environments, Configuring SharePoint Hybrid Solutions, Migration to SharePoint Online, (Zero downtime) patching, SharePoint Authentication Providers
SharePoint Online Administration:
• Manage site collections at the tenant level.
• Design and implement hub site architecture.
• Utilize SPO Management Shell, PnP PowerShell module, and Microsoft Graph for tenant management.
• Oversee tenant-level external sharing and prevent oversharing.
• Administer and configure Microsoft Search and understand Microsoft Graph Search connectors.
• Integrate SharePoint Online with M365 Purview for data governance and information management.
• Implement data loss prevention, data retention, and sensitivity labels for SPO/ODFB.
• Manage Microsoft 365 backup and archive for SharePoint Online.
• Utilize SharePoint Advanced Management (SAM) Add-on features and controls.
• Classic and Modern Search
• Understanding of the latest updates and changes to SharePoint Online

OneDrive for Business Administration:
• Understand GPO/Intune settings for managing the OneDrive for Business sync client.
• Migrate from on-premises home drives to OneDrive for Business.
• Apply best practices for the OneDrive for Business sync client.

Additional Experience:
• Experience in the following areas is desirable: Active Directory, AD Security, Protocols, Tools, Windows Tools, IIS Experience with troubleshooting tools, Understand how Microsoft 365 platform components interact with SharePoint Online , Configuring SharePoint Online deployments and configurations , Configuring OneDrive deployments and configurations, Information Protection in Microsoft 365
• Good understanding of administering, developing, deploying, customizing and troubleshooting Power Platform environments and solutions with Dataverse, Dataverse for Teams & other data sources
• Power Platform includes Power Automate, Power Apps, Power Pages, Power Virtual Agents
• Developing custom solutions using modern developer stack
• SharePoint PowerShell scripting for online (& on premises environments)
