About the Role

The SharePoint Administrator plays a vital role in creating a seamless, secure, and efficient digital workplace. This position provides high-quality Tier 1 support while partnering with SharePoint Engineers on strategic, enterprise-wide initiatives—offering an exciting opportunity to contribute to both daily operations and long-term platform enhancements.


Your Key Contributions

  • Execute complex SharePoint permissions strategies, including safely breaking inheritance, designing group-based access, and strictly adhering to least-privilege models.
  • Build and maintain high-utility Power Automate workflows.
  • Implement and maintain modern SharePoint architecture, Hub Site association, and site provisioning
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on the functional differences between Teams Sites and other communication sites to guide departmental “owners” to the appropriate solution.
  • Assist in the oversight of Personally Identifiable Information security protection, sensitivity labels, and data retention policies within the Microsoft 365 environment.
  • Facilitate discovery sessions with stakeholders to translate business pain points into scalable low-maintenance SharePoint solutions.
  • Perform routine maintenance and configuration within the SharePoint Admin Center and Microsoft 365 Admin Center.


What Makes You a Great Fit

  • Associate’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years of dedicated experience as a SharePoint Administrator or Power Platform Specialist
  • Demonstrated experience with SharePoint migration projects and a solid understanding of M365- file-sharing protocols
  • Basic familiarity with PowerShell for bulk administrative tasks
  • Clear technical communication skills, with a unique ability to translate complex information to non-technical users
  • Understanding of basic PII (Personally Identifiable Information) protection standards
  • Proven experience managing a ticket queue independently while contributing effectively to a collaborative team environment


Work Schedule

  • Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM Eastern Time


Equipment Requirements

For PC Users:

  • A modern processor (Intel Core i5 or AMD Ryzen 5 from the last few years)
  • Windows 11 (kept up to date)

For Mac Users:

  • A modern processor (Apple M1 chip or a recent Intel Core i5)
  • A recent macOS (Ventura or newer)

For Everyone:

  • At least 8 GB of memory (RAM) to run applications smoothly
  • A fast hard drive with sufficient available storage
