Job Description
Bridgepointe Technologies is seeking a Services Controller to lead financial operations for our growing Services division. This fully remote role reports to the VP / Corporate Controller and partners closely with the leaders of the services businesses. The Services Controller will oversee financial planning, revenue tracking, performance analysis, and margin optimization for all managed services and project-based work. This is a high-impact role for a strategic, detail-oriented finance leader who thrives in a dynamic services environment.
 
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Financial Management
  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting for the $30M+ Services business
  • Ensure accurate revenue recognition and compliance with ASC 606 standards
  • Manage project costing and expense alignment in partnership with accounting
Strategic Business Partnership
  • Serve as a financial advisor to the operational leadership
  • Support pricing, contract modeling, and margin analysis for proposals and renewals
  • Align financial goals with business strategy and delivery capacity
Performance Analysis & Optimization
  • Track key performance metrics including revenue, margin, utilization, and delivery efficiency
  • Conduct project- and client-level profitability analysis
  • Identify cost drivers, delivery inefficiencies, and margin improvement opportunities
Operational Systems & Process Improvement
  • Improve financial workflows and reporting tools for services operations
  • Collaborate with Operations and IT to optimize PSA, CRM, and ERP systems
  • Implement financial automation and standardization across services processes
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; CPA or MBA preferred
  • 7+ years of relevant experience in FP&A, controllership, or services finance
  • Background in managed services, consulting, or project-based business models
  • Proficient in project accounting, revenue recognition (ASC 606), and services KPIs
  • Advanced Excel skills; experience with financial systems such as NetSuite, Salesforce, and PSA tools
  • Excellent communication and business partnering skills; ability to thrive in a fast-paced remote environment
