The SEO Specialist will manage multiple accounts, implement monthly optimizations, and be accountable for ongoing strategic delivery and reporting.

Skills Needed

  • Strong understanding of SEO best practices, including:
    • Technical SEO
    • On-page SEO
    • UX for SEO
    • Content Strategy
    • Link Building
  • Solid knowledge of Google algorithm updates and SEO trends.
  • Familiarity with tracking and web tools such as:
    • GA4.
    • GTM.
    • Basic understanding of HTML/CSS is a plus.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • An analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and generate insights.
  • Experience managing client escalations and driving resolutions.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across departments (PPC, Web, Client Experience).
  • High level of organization and process orientation.
  • Strong time management and task prioritization in ClickUp.
  • Commitment to ongoing learning and self-development, including the ability to complete both soft skill and technical training assigned by the Chief of Staff or immediate supervisor.


Specific Responsibilities


  • Ensure daily fulfillment of ClickUp tasks via dashboards and stay on top of deadlines.
  • Prepare and deliver the full SEO onboarding package for new clients, including:
    • Initial Strategy Deck
    • Keyword Research
    • SEO Audit
    • Competitor Research
    • Content Strategy
  • Implement monthly on-site and technical optimizations based on client priorities and performance.
  • Submit and track backlink requests using Vazoola or any approved backlink vendor.
  • Take ownership of POAs (Plans of Action) for at-risk clients when needed.
  • Ensure that all decisions and recommendations are based on research, data, and SEO tools, no assumptions or default tactics.
  • Collaborate with Content Writers to provide clear outlines, keyword guidance, and optimization intent.
  • Work closely with Web and PPC teams to support a holistic, performance-driven digital strategy.
  • Respond to internal SEO requests and client inquiries with clarity, speed, and documented support.
  • Complete all assigned soft and technical trainings as directed by their direct supervisor.
  • Maintain accurate and well-written optimization notes and client-facing documentation.


Monthly KPIs

  • 100% of SEO clients meet defined fulfillment goals.
  • 100% of on-site optimizations completed on time.
  • 100% of reports completed and delivered to Client Experience.
  • 100% of off-site deliverables (backlink/vendor requests) completed.
  • 100% of SEO client requests completed via ClickUp.
  • 100% of POAs for at-risk clients were completed on time.
  • 100% of new SEO strategies completed for new clients.
  • 100% of optimization notes and reports are clear, data-driven, and easy to understand.
  • Complete 100% of assigned trainings (soft skills or technical) within the established deadlines, as directed by their immediate supervisor, and proactively apply the learnings in their daily responsibilities.
