SEO Assistant

Salary: R23 000 – R25 000 per month

Remote Recruitment is hiring an SEO Assistant for a UK-based employer, fully remote from South Africa, owning day-to-day SEO monitoring and reporting.

Role overview

You will support the marketing team with keyword research, on-page optimisation and performance tracking.

Key responsibilities

• Support keyword research and on-page SEO optimisation
• Monitor rankings and website performance using Google Analytics and Search Console
• Assist with technical SEO audits and fixes
• Help maintain SEO reporting dashboards
• Support content teams with SEO best practices
• Track competitor SEO activity

What you will need

• Experience with or strong interest in SEO fundamentals
• Familiarity with Google Analytics or Google Search Console
• Experience with basic keyword research tools
• Strong attention to detail
• Comfortable working UK business hours

Nice to have

• Experience with WordPress
• Familiarity with SEO tools (SEMrush, Ahrefs, or SE Ranking)
• Basic understanding of Google Ads or PPC
