Senior Zscaler Engineer

We are looking for a Senior Zscaler Engineer to join our team and play a key role in designing, implementing, and supporting secure network transformation initiatives based on Zero Trust and SASE principles.

In this role, you will work closely with customers and internal teams to deliver modern security architectures, migrate legacy network infrastructures, and implement enterprise-grade Zscaler solutions across complex environments. You will act as a trusted advisor throughout the project lifecycle, from architecture design to deployment and operational support.

The role combines network security, cloud connectivity, and architecture expertise, with a strong focus on Zscaler technologies and Zero Trust transformation programs.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain Zscaler solutions, including:
  

  • Zscaler Internet Access (ZIA)
    
  • Zscaler Private Access (ZPA)
    
  • Zscaler Digital Experience (ZDX)
    
  • Zscaler Client Connector (ZCC)
    

• Design and implement Zscaler Branch Connect solutions for secure branch connectivity, including:
  

  • Cloud Branch
    
  • Hub-and-Spoke architectures
    
  • Breakout configurations
    
  • SD-WAN integrations
    

• Lead migrations from legacy network and security infrastructures, including:
  

  • Firewalls
    
  • Proxies
    
  • MPLS networks
    
  • Traditional perimeter-based architectures
    

• Support M&A, carve-out, and integration scenarios by establishing secure connectivity between separate enterprise environments
  

• Provide technical consulting and architectural guidance for:
  

  • Zero Trust initiatives
    
  • SASE transformation programs
    

• Conduct:
  

  • Technical workshops
    
  • Proofs of Concept (PoCs)
    
  • Customer training sessions
    

• Produce and maintain technical documentation, including:
  

  • High-Level Designs (HLD)
    
  • Low-Level Designs (LLD)
    
  • Operating procedures
    
  • Handover documentation
    

• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in Zscaler environments, including escalation management with Zscaler Support
  

• Collaborate with customers, project teams, and technology partners to ensure successful project delivery
  

Requirements

• Several years of proven experience implementing and operating:
  

  • Zscaler Internet Access (ZIA)
    
  • Zscaler Private Access (ZPA)
    

• Strong expertise in:
  

  • Zscaler Branch Connect
    
  • Cloud Branch
    
  • Forwarding Profiles
    
  • Location Management
    
  • SD-WAN integrations
    

• Solid understanding of:
  

  • Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA)
    
  • SASE architectures
    
  • Modern network security concepts
    

• Experience with networking technologies and protocols, including:
  

  • BGP
    
  • OSPF
    
  • IPSec
    
  • GRE
    
  • DNS
    
  • HTTP/S Inspection
    
  • Split Tunneling
    

• Experience integrating Zscaler with cloud environments such as:
  

  • Microsoft Azure
    
  • AWS
    
  • Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
    

• Experience integrating identity providers, including:
  

  • Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD)
    
  • Okta
    
  • SAML 2.0
    
  • SCIM
    

• Experience working in customer-facing consulting environments
  

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  

• Ability to work effectively under pressure and in fast-paced project environments
  

• Fluency in English (B2+ or higher)
