Senior Wokday Architect

About the Role
Kastech is expanding Workday practice leadership in Canada. We are hiring a Senior Workday Architect with deep partner-side delivery experience to lead complex implementation and support engagements, own solution architecture across HCM and/or Financials, and grow into a client-facing leadership role within the practice.

Responsibilities

• Lead solution architecture and design for Workday HCM and/or Financials implementations, ensuring alignment with client business requirements and Workday best practices
• Own technical delivery across the full implementation lifecycle: discovery, design, configuration, testing, deployment, hypercare
• Provide senior-level support and AMS oversight for post-go-live clients, including complex issue resolution and enhancement roadmaps
• Serve as a trusted advisor to client stakeholders, translating business needs into scalable Workday solutions
• Mentor and provide technical direction to junior consultants and analysts on engagements
• Partner with practice leadership on proposal development, SOW scoping, and solution estimation for new opportunities
• Stay current on Workday's biannual release cycle and proactively advise clients on relevant new functionality

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on Workday consulting experience, with at least 3 years on the partner/systems-integrator side (not client-side only)
• Active Workday certification(s) in HCM Core and/or Financials Core (additional certifications in Integrations, Payroll, Compensation, Absence, or Recruiting a plus)
• Demonstrated experience across at least two full implementation lifecycle and four ongoing support/AMS engagement
• Strong understanding of Workday security framework, business process framework, and reporting (Core/Advanced/Composite)
• Working knowledge of Workday integration tooling (Core Connectors, EIB, Studio) sufficient to architect end-to-end solutions alongside integration specialists
• Excellent client-facing communication skills; comfortable presenting to HR/Finance leadership and steering committees
• Eligible to work in Canada; based in Canada

Preferred

• Experience with Workday Extend, Prism Analytics, or Adaptive Planning
• Prior experience at a Workday services partner (e.g., Deloitte, Accenture, Collaborative Solutions, IBM, Huron)
• Experience carrying delivery or account leadership responsibility (engagement lead, delivery manager) in addition to hands-on architecture
