About the Role
We are looking for a Senior RPA Developer who can take automation blueprints and turn them into stable, production-grade bots — fast. In this role, you will be the hands-on build force behind Genzeon's payer-side Prior Authorization automation, working within a defined solution architecture to develop, test, deploy, and maintain UiPath automations that operate in live healthcare environments.
You will work closely with the Solution Architect, Business Analysts, and clinical SMEs to understand PA workflows across specialty categories — DME, PT/OT, oncology, and pharmacy — and translate those requirements into reliable, reusable automation components. This is a high-output, high-ownership developer role on a greenfield product with real client deployments.
What You'll Do
•
Develop end-to-end RPA solutions using UiPath Studio, RE-Framework, and Orchestrator across the full PA automation lifecycle — intake, clinical criteria processing, decisioning, letter generation, appeals, and dismissals
•
Build and maintain reusable automation components, libraries, sequences, and flowcharts aligned to the solution architect's design standards and UiPath best practices
•
Integrate bots with healthcare systems including Epic, payer portals, UM platforms, and document management systems using UI automation, API calls, and data scraping techniques
•
Manage bot deployment, scheduling, robot provisioning, work queues, assets, and production monitoring in UiPath Orchestrator across UAT and production environments
•
Collaborate with Business Analysts and clinical SMEs during requirements gathering and PDD development to ensure automation specifications are technically feasible before build begins
•
Contribute to Process Definition Documents (PDDs) and Solution Design Documents (SDDs), and produce operational runbooks and high-level design documentation for each deployed process
•
Develop automated test cases, support pre-UAT testing, execute regression testing, and document and resolve defects through to production sign-off
•
Handle production issues, perform root cause analysis (RCA), implement fixes, and communicate resolution status to project stakeholders
•
Implement structured exception handling, alerting, and logging for every automation process to ensure robust, error-tolerant production behavior
•
Ensure all bots are developed and deployed in compliance with HIPAA and PHI handling requirements
•
Support hypercare period post-deployment and conduct knowledge transfer to support teams
•
Participate in Agile ceremonies — sprint planning, daily standups, task estimation, and sprint reviews — as a contributing member of the delivery team
