The Role

As part of the continued growth and transformation, we are now looking for a Senior Treasury Analyst to join our team. This is 100% remote role with the expectation that candidates are no more than 1 hour from central London to travel for meetings. You will work in an exciting and dynamic Insurance organisation reporting into the Treasury Director - EMEA. The role will focus primarily on daily cash management for the EMEA entities, liquidity management & supporting bank account openings. The role will give the individual opportunity to get involved in project work as well as work with our US colleagues to help support their activities.

 

Job Description

·        Cash Management & Forecasting: 

·        Use the Treasury Management system to monitor daily cash positions, manage cash flow forecasting, and ensure adequate liquidity to meet the company's financial obligations.

·        Execute Money Market Fund Trades using the Morgan Money Platform.

·        Execute FX transactions as required on behalf of the group or subsidiaries to manage their FX exposure (internally or through HSBC Evolve, Citi Pulse).

·        Support the treasury team in entering payments into the Treasury Management System for approval.

·        Conduct daily cash reconciliation within the TMS to ensure all payments are settling.

·        Look for new ways to streamline and automate daily processes.

·        Liquidity & Risk Management: 

·        Analyse and optimise liquidity levels, support funding strategies, and mitigate financial risks related to cash flow and market exposure.

·        FX Management:

·        Manage the execution of FX deals on behalf of subsidiaries or group companies.

·        Analyse FX exposures and propose solutions/actions to the Treasury Director.

·        Payments & Banking Operations: 

·        Oversee payment processes and ensure the timely execution of transactions while maintaining compliance with internal controls.

·        Support the EMEA & US Teams in payment inputting and approval.

·        Facilitate account lifecycle tasks-openings, closures, API reporting into he TMS and mandate updates-aligned with internal policies.

·        Collaboration & Compliance: 

·        Work closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure accurate financial reporting, adherence to treasury policies, and regulatory compliance.

·        Assist in the preparation of SOX compliance documentation and back-up (e.g., banking profiles, payment audits).

·        Assist the Treasury Managers in their review of bank accounts.

·        Contribute to continuous process improvement and support wider treasury initiatives beyond core remit.

 

The Successful Applicant
A successful Senior Treasury Analyst should have:

·        Strong knowledge of cash management, liquidity management, payment processing, FX execution, and front-office treasury processes. Ideally, with 4+ years working in a Corporate/Insurance treasury environment.

·        Strong understanding of cash flow forecasting, liquidity management, and payment processing.

·        Experience using a treasury management system (TMS) is a plus.

·        Progressing through, or already part-qualified with, the Association of Corporate Treasurers (ACT) or other accounting qualification; open to further development.

·        Ability to analyse financial data, identify trends, and provide insights to support decision-making and risk management.

·        Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with internal teams, banks, and external stakeholders.
