Senior Technical Program Manager

At Mindera, we build resilient, high-throughput software. We are expanding our core engineering teams as part of a long-term partnership. We are seeking a Senior Tech Program Manager to join our team and play a key role in one of our projects within the betting industry.

This is a pivotal position where your mission will be to ensure the successful execution of the project, managing scope, budget, schedule, and risks, while keeping our teams supported, focused, and delivering with quality.

You'll own the end-to-end delivery of complex, high-risk programs spanning multiple teams and disciplines. You'll lead program-level planning, sequencing, and dependency management — keeping delivery on track against agreed outcomes, timelines, and budgets, while Product and Engineering retain ownership of product outcomes and technical quality.

You're pragmatic and hands-on: someone who removes pressure from teams, unblocks issues, and keeps delivery moving. You act as a point of escalation, giving senior stakeholders clear visibility and confidence, and role-model strong delivery practice across the organization.

Requirements

What You'll Do

• Own the end-to-end program management process, from scope definition to delivery, ensuring goals, timelines, and budgets are met.
• Lead program-level sequencing and roadmap planning, integrating delivery across teams based on Product and Engineering roadmaps.
• Maintain a clear delivery plan, tracking progress and adapting as circumstances change.
• Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate risks and dependencies, escalating blockers as needed.
• Lead and organize multidisciplinary teams, promoting collaboration, focus, and accountability.
• Negotiate and manage client and stakeholder expectations through transparent communication across business, product, and technology.
• Provide clear, data-led visibility of program progress, delivery health, and risks to senior stakeholders.
• Support financial tracking and spend visibility at program level.
• Manage transition of program into business-as-usual, ensuring proper handover to operational teams.
• Reinforce agile and DevOps delivery discipline, cadence, and execution practices across teams.
• Where required, line manage and develop TPMs and Associate TPMs, building a high-performance team culture.
• Coach TPMs and contribute to the wider Delivery/TPM community.

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience as a Project/Delivery/Technical Program Manager in software development, leading complex, multi-team initiatives end-to-end.
• Senior program management experience, including reporting to senior stakeholders on OKRs and KPIs.
• Technical understanding of architecture, development, or software delivery.
• Strong sequencing, planning, and prioritisation skills across teams and product areas.
• Advanced risk and dependency management, with confidence to escalate and drive resolution.
• Confidence negotiating with clients and managing expectations.
• Experience leading multiple teams in dynamic, fast-moving settings.
• Experienced in the Retail sector from an engineering & data background is a plus.
• A pragmatic, results-oriented mindset focused on delivery and outcomes.
• Ability to stay calm under pressure and shield teams from unnecessary stress.
• Financial tracking awareness, supporting budget control and value-driven decisions.
• Agile and DevOps delivery expertise.
• Coaching and mentoring capability, contributing to delivery maturity.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, especially under pressure.
