The Senior Strategic Operations Manager will drive strategic decisions through data analysis and manage complex cross-functional operational projects. They will serve as a partner to leadership, transforming analytical insights into structured process improvements and actionable business workflows.
On a regular basis you will
Immerse yourself in data, uncovering insights that drive strategic decisions and proactively investigating operational trends
Develop and maintain dashboards that tell meaningful stories about operational performance
Conduct deep-dive analyses that answer critical business questions and reveal optimization opportunities
Lead and manage complex operational projects from conception through completion
Coordinate cross-functional initiatives that span multiple departments and stakeholders
Develop project timelines, track deliverables, and ensure accountability across teams
Facilitate meetings, workshops, and strategic planning sessions
Transform analytical findings into structured improvement projects with clear outcomes
Manage operational process improvements and implementation of new workflows
Serve as a strategic partner to operations leadership, extending their capacity to drive multiple initiatives
Present findings and project updates confidently to stakeholders at all levels
Anticipate business needs by staying ahead with both analytical insights and proactive project planning
Become the go-to person for both data questions and operational project execution
Bridge the gap between data insights and practical business implementation
You’re gonna crush it if
You have 4+ years of experience pairing analytical rigor with hands-on operational ownership. We are especially interested in candidates who have worked in management consulting and at either a two-sided marketplace, or in legal technology.
You have advanced proficiency in SQL, data manipulation and visualization. You are highly adept at using Excel and business intelligence tools like Omni.
You have proven project management experience with ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and manage multiple stakeholders
You switch context without losing the thread. You can drive several unrelated workstreams at once and still catch the detail that matters in each one
You have high emotional intelligence and read a room well. You earn credibility with colleagues, and you disagree productively
You have strong organizational skills with experience managing competing priorities and complex timelines
You have inherent curiosity and analytical follow-through - you can’t help but ask “why?” and love using data and logic to explore solutions
You have excellent communication skills with ability to present to both technical and non-technical audiences
You have a self-starter mentality with ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and identify opportunities with limited oversight
You thrive in fast-paced, high-growth environments with comfort in ambiguity and rapid change

You have experience with Snowflake
You have familiarity with modern data stack technologies such as dbt and Fivetran
You have knowledge of the legal tech industry or professional services
You have experience with Python or R for data analysis
You have an understanding of machine learning concepts and applications
You have experience working with operational teams in complex service-based businesses
Compensation & Benefits
Salary - $125,000 - $155,000
