AI Summary

Accountable for the quality, consistency, and accessibility of all digital and physical learning products before publication. This includes executing functional QA for eLearning modules, managing LMS configurations, and designing AI-augmented QA workflows.

What you will do

The Senior Specialist, Quality Assurance is accountable for the quality, consistency, and accessibility of all learning products released by Sales Performance Solutions, ensuring that eLearning modules, LMS configurations, multi-format content sets, and print-ready files meet functional, brand, accessibility, and user experience standards before publication. You own the execution of structured quality assurance workflows across digital and physical learning assets, producing documented test records, defect logs, compliance reports, and release recommendations that enable the Director of Content & Customization and the Content Manager to make informed go-live decisions. You will design and implement AI-augmented QA workflows that expand coverage and reduce manual effort, maintain the QA standards library, coordinate user acceptance testing, and provide accurate visibility into QA workstream status, capacity, and delivery timelines as a core operational function of the role.

Which means that on a day-to-day basis, you will:

Digital Learning Product Quality Assurance

  • Execute functional QA across all eLearning modules, including interaction testing, branching logic verification, completion and tracking validation, and audio/video quality review — producing a documented test record and resolved defect log for each module prior to LMS publication
  • Verify LMS course configuration, including enrollment settings, completion rules, assessment logic, and learner-facing accuracy — producing a signed-off configuration record before each course goes live
  • Review digital learning materials against WCAG 2.1 and Section 508 accessibility standards — producing a documented compliance record and flagged remediation list for any identified gaps prior to release

Multi-Format Content Integrity and Production Quality

  • Conduct comprehensive cross-document content integrity reviews across all components of a learning product including slide decks, workbooks, handouts, facilitator guides, and eLearning modules — producing a resolved discrepancy log in which minor and obvious errors are corrected independently and judgment calls are routed to the Director of Content & Customization for resolution
  • Review PDF and print-ready files against brand standards, formatting specifications, and source documents — producing files that are production-ready and free of layout, formatting, and cross-reference errors

User Acceptance Testing and Release Readiness

  • Lead planning and execution of user acceptance testing for new and updated learning products and platform configurations — producing structured UAT plans, test scripts, results documentation, and a signed-off release recommendation

QA Workstream Coordination

  • Develop and maintain QA checklists, testing protocols, and process documentation — producing a living QA standards library that is current, accessible, and continuously improved based on identified gaps and team feedback
  • Maintain project schedules, task trackers, and status documentation for active QA workstreams in coordination with the Director of Content & Customization and the Content Manager— producing accurate, current visibility into QA status, capacity, and delivery timelines

How you’ll do it

Because how we do things matters just as much as what we do at Trilliad, our Leadership Principles should act as a compass directing the everyday behavior of every teammate across the organization:

Growth Obsessed. For our business, our clients, and our Selves.

Create Client Value. Become irreplaceable

Business is Personal. Cultivate relationships. Make space for connection. Care about each other.

Tighten-Up. Focus, discipline, and rigor count.

Lighten-Up. Humor and laughter deepen bonds.

Strategy Without Execution Is Just Dreaming. Hope is not a strategy. Vision matters—so does execution.

You Have the Ball. Be accountable. Take action. Go the distance.

Be One Team. No lone wolves. Have each other’s back and help each other out.

Run Towards Problems. Symptoms signal deeper causes. Find the root.

Raise The Bar. Good is the enemy of great. Better never stops—be a Difference-Maker!

Have the Hard Conversation. Be direct and empathetic. Speak the truth, kindly. Feedback is a gift.

Confusion Is a Choice. Stay curious—Seek to understand. Share context—seek to be understood.

Celebrate Results. Make recognition a habit. Shine a light on what’s working, big or small.

The Journey Matters. Meaningful work takes time. Be patient. Think: the next 90 days and the next 10 years.

Think “We” not “Me.” Prioritize what’s best for the business, the team, and the journey.

The following domain-specific Skills, Knowledge, and Experience are additionally required in order for you to be great in this role.

Domain-specific skills

  • Functional testing across eLearning, LMS, PDF, and presentation formats — You execute structured test plans with precision and completeness, documenting results without gaps so that defect resolution and release decisions are based on verified evidence rather than assumption
  • Cross-document content review and discrepancy resolution — You hold multiple learning product components simultaneously in working memory, identify inconsistencies in terminology, sequencing, exercise references, and numbering, and distinguish between errors you can resolve independently and those requiring escalation to subject matter experts
  • Contextual US English proficiency in professional training content — You read and comprehend US business English at a level sufficient to identify idiomatic inaccuracies, tonal misalignments, and content that does not mean what it is intended to mean in a US professional training context, enabling you to catch errors that automated grammar tools cannot detect
  • Process documentation for operational handoff — You translate QA activities into clear, structured, repeatable written processes that can be followed by others without additional explanation, ensuring that quality standards are maintained consistently across the team
  • Administrative project coordination in a QA context — You maintain accurate schedules and trackers, communicate status proactively, and flag delivery risks before they become delays, providing the operational visibility required to manage QA capacity and timelines

Domain-Specific Knowledge

  • eLearning output and publishing standards including SCORM 1.2, LTI 1.3, and xAPI — You understand the common configuration and testing requirements across current eLearning authoring platforms so that you can verify technical compliance and identify publishing errors before learners encounter them
  • LMS administration and course configuration at an operational level — You know how to verify settings, test learner pathways, and identify configuration errors so that courses function as intended when released to end users
  • WCAG 2.1 and Section 508 accessibility standards as applied to digital learning content — You understand the specific requirements for accessible digital learning materials so that you can systematically review content, document compliance, and flag remediation needs before publication
  • PDF and print production file standards including layout, formatting, and cross-reference conventions — You know how to identify production errors against a defined style guide so that print-ready files meet brand and formatting specifications without requiring rework
  • Project tracking and documentation tools at an operational level — You know how to own QA workstream visibility using standard project management tools without requiring technical support, enabling you to provide accurate status reporting and capacity planning

Domain-specific experience

  • 3+ years in a QA, content operations, or learning technology role with direct accountability for functional testing and documented defect resolution in a digital learning or multi-format content environment
  • Demonstrated experience executing cross-document or cross-asset consistency reviews across multiple content formats including eLearning, presentation materials, workbooks, and facilitator guides
  • Demonstrated experience developing or operating AI-assisted workflows for content review, testing, or production tasks using platforms such as Claude, ChatGPT, or specialized content automation tools
  • Demonstrated experience producing and maintaining structured QA documentation including test plans, defect logs, and process guides to a standard that can be audited and handed off to other team members
  • Experience working in a remote, cross-cultural team environment with primary stakeholders located in a different time zone and geography, requiring asynchronous communication and proactive status reporting
  • Demonstrated written communication proficiency in US English at a level sufficient to identify contextual and idiomatic errors in professional training content, not just grammar and spelling errors
