Lead technical sales engagements for digital native and mid-market customers, integrating application security into developer workflows, CI/CD pipelines, and security programs. Own proof-of-value engagements, demonstrate product capabilities, advise on solution design, and partner with account executives to improve sales processes and customer education.
Join a cybersecurity team focused on application security as the technical lead for digital native and mid-market sales cycles. You will bring strong engineering depth to customer conversations, helping teams integrate security into developer workflows and CI/CD pipelines.
Build expertise in the application security platform and integrate it into customer CI/CD pipelines, developer workflows, and security programs.
Lead technical discovery, diagnose customer challenges, and advise on solution design.
Own proof-of-value engagements from success criteria through configuration and technical outcomes.
Write or adapt rules to identify vulnerabilities and demonstrate product capabilities.
Explain technical differentiation to security engineers, DevOps teams, and executives.
Improve demos, automation, and educational content to reduce customer friction.
Partner with account executives on complex sales and contribute to team processes and best practices.
Travel up to 20% for customer meetings, events, conferences, and company gatherings.
Two to five years of pre-sales engineering experience in enterprise SaaS, working with complex technical products; application security experience is preferred.
Experience supporting sales of products in application security, DevOps, CI/CD, monitoring, or adjacent developer tooling.
A computer science degree and prior engineering experience, with strong technical fundamentals across languages and tools.
Understanding of developer workflows and build systems, including CI/CD environments such as GitHub Actions, GitLab, CircleCI, Jenkins, or Buildkite.
Clear communication skills and experience working with security engineers, DevOps teams, and technical leaders.
Must be a US citizen or Green Card holder. Candidates must be currently employed outside of freelance, independent contractor, contract, or fractional work, or not currently working.
Base salary is $147,000 to $175,000 USD annually. Visa sponsorship is not available.
Remote within the United States, supporting West Coast or East Coast customers.
