The Role
We are looking for a Senior Solution Consultant to join our growing practice. In this role, you will work closely with clients to understand their strategic challenges, design tailored consulting solutions, and lead solutions delivery across a portfolio of projects. You will be a trusted advisor — combining analytical rigour with strong commercial awareness and exceptional stakeholder management to drive outcomes that matter.
This is a senior, client-facing position that requires both the gravitas to engage at executive level and the hands-on capability to lead workstreams and develop junior consultants.
Key Responsibilities
Client Engagement & Advisory
- Build and maintain trusted advisor relationships with senior client stakeholders, including C-suite and Director-level contacts.
- Lead discovery workshops and diagnostic assessments to understand client needs and define the problem space.
- Design and present compelling solution proposals, business cases, and roadmaps.
- Manage client expectations proactively, navigating complexity with confidence and clarity.
Solution Design & Delivery
- Shape and structure consulting engagements from initiation through to completion, ensuring quality and on-time delivery.
- Develop detailed solution architectures, operating models, and implementation plans tailored to client context.
- Lead cross-functional workstreams, coordinating internal teams and client resources effectively.
- Apply structured problem-solving methodologies to surface insights and develop actionable recommendations.
Business Development
- Identify and develop new opportunities within existing accounts, contributing to account growth plans.
- Support bid and proposal activity, including drafting responses to tenders and RFPs.
- Represent Actus Verto at industry events, roundtables, and networking forums.
- Collaborate with the leadership team to refine service offerings and go-to-market strategies.
People & Practice Development
- Mentor and coach junior consultants, sharing expertise and supporting their professional development.
- Contribute to the development of methodologies, frameworks, and intellectual property for the practice.
- Actively participate in internal knowledge-sharing, communities of practice, and capability-building initiatives.
Skills & Experience
Essential
- Proven experience in a consulting or professional services environment, with a minimum of 5–7 years in client-facing roles.
- Demonstrable track record of leading complex, multi-stakeholder consulting engagements from design through delivery.
- Strong solution design capability — able to translate ambiguous client challenges into structured, credible proposals.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present with impact at senior levels.
- Commercial acumen, including experience supporting business development, proposals, and account growth.
- High degree of professional credibility and executive presence.
- Experience managing and developing junior team members.
- Knowledge of legal domain technologies (3E, Aderant, Intapp, Interaction, Harvey, Legora, Claude etc)
Desirable
- Sector experience in one or more of: financial services, public sector, insurance, or technology.
- Familiarity with transformation, change management, or operating model design engagements.
- Professional qualifications (e.g. MBA, PRINCE2, MSP, TOGAF, or equivalent).
- Experience working in a boutique or specialist consulting firm.
