Position: Senior Software Engineer (Go Developer)

Working Arrangement: Remote | Monday–Friday | 9:00–18:00

About the Role: 

We are looking for a Go Developer to design and build Telegram bots on top of the Telegram Bot API. You will own the technical work of creating conversational bots, integrating them with internal services, and ensuring reliable, secure, real-time interactions with our users. Go is our primary stack for this role. You will report to the CPO. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Design, build, and own Telegram bots in Go 

• Work extensively with the Telegram Bot API (commands, inline keyboards, callbacks, webhooks, long polling) 

• Build and maintain bot conversation flows and state handling end to end 

• Integrate bots with internal APIs and third-party services 

• Implement message routing, rate limiting, and update handling reliably 

• Handle retries, idempotency, and failure/edge-case handling 

• Ensure secure handling of user data and bot tokens 

• Maintain and monitor existing bots; resolve integration issues 

• Build logging and reporting for bot operations and troubleshooting 

• Coordinate with internal teams during design, onboarding and testing 
  

Requirements: 

• Strong backend engineering experience in Go (API and integration heavy) 

• Proven experience building Telegram bots with the Telegram Bot API 

• Solid understanding of webhooks, long polling, and event-driven flows 

• Experience with concurrency patterns in Go (goroutines, channels) 

• Experience with retries, idempotency, and error-handling patterns 

• Familiarity with secure handling of tokens and user data 

• Experience in fintech, payments, or forex/CFD brokerage preferred 

• Strong attention to reliability, security and detail
