You’ll join the Glofox Communications Platform team, responsible of the enablement of every communication channel (SMS, E-mail, Push Notifications, WhatsApp..) within the Glofox platform and its CRM solution: Xlerate. RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Design and develop backend services using Go as part of our delivery 

• Build and maintain APIs and service logic that power the communications on the Glofox platform and its CRM solution: Xlerate 

• Work with Circle CI, AWS and MongoDB as needed for feature delivery 

• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and testers to ship reliable increments 

• Participate in code reviews, testing, and continuous improvement of our delivery practices 

• Work with an energized, fun, friendly and customer-focused cross-functional team 

• Use cutting edge Agile & Lean ways of working underpinned by DevOps and CI/CD 

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or relevant field exp. preferred 

• 4+ years of experience with a general-purpose programming language, 2+ in Golang 

• Experience designing and maintaining APIs and service-oriented backends, including webhooks and event-driven systems 

• Knowledge of MongoDB 

• Solid understanding of the practical application of agile development methods in an Agile/Lean/Continuous Delivery environment 

• Knowledge of modern Quality and Testing principles 

• Comfortable learning new technologies and systems 

• Basic knowledge of code versioning tools 

• Strong written and verbal communication 

AND IT'S GREAT TO HAVE:

• Prior CRM or club-management experience 

• Working knowledge of SQL and relational databases 

• Exposure to AWS or similar cloud platforms 

• Knowledge of tooling around continuous deployment 

Compensation for this role will be determined based on a variety of factors, including relevant experience, qualifications, skills, geographic location, and market considerations. The anticipated compensation range for this position is -
