WennSoft is hiring a Senior AI-First Full-Stack Developer to help build FORGE Job Cost, a new cloud-based Job Cost product within the FORGE product suite. FORGE Job Cost is being built as WennSoft’s own modern, multi-tenant SaaS web application based on Microsoft Azure and Azure AI Foundry. The product will integrate with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, Microsoft Power Platform, and related Microsoft technologies, but the core solution is WennSoft’s own cloud application, not a Power Platform-only product.
This is a hands-on development role for someone who wants to build business-critical financial and operational software in a complex ERP, finance, accounting, and job cost domain. Customers depend on this product for accurate financial, operational, and reporting data, so quality, security, scalability, data integrity, tenant isolation, integration reliability, and auditability are essential.
This developer is not expected to be the Product Manager, Business Analyst, or accounting subject-matter expert. Product Management and domain experts own the what, why, customer value, business rules, priorities, requirements, and acceptance criteria. The developer owns the how: technical design, full-stack implementation, data model implementation, API and integration design, AI-assisted development, testing, security, tenant isolation, maintainability, and delivery execution.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design, build, test, and maintain features for FORGE Job Cost, WennSoft’s modern cloud-based Job Cost web application.
• Develop scalable, secure, multi-tenant SaaS capabilities using Microsoft Azure, Azure AI Foundry, APIs, modern web application patterns, and related technologies.
• Translate product requirements, business rules, acceptance criteria, and domain input into reliable working software.
• Own technical design, full-stack implementation, data model implementation, API and integration design, testing approach, security implementation, tenant isolation, maintainability, performance, reliability, and technical documentation.
• Build features that support job costing, project costing, cost codes, budgets, commitments, change orders, billing, payroll/time impacts, reporting, and ERP integrations.
• Design and implement integrations with Microsoft Business Central, Microsoft Power Platform, Dynamics-related services, APIs, reporting tools, and other business systems.
• Identify technical risks, integration risks, edge cases, data quality concerns, scalability issues, and security risks before they become customer problems.
• Use AI-generated code responsibly by validating, testing, reviewing, securing, and refactoring it before it becomes part of the product.
• Partner with Product Management, ERP/accounting domain experts, QA, engineering leadership, implementation, support, and customer-facing teams.
