Our client is seeking a Senior Software Asset Management (SAM) Specialist to support a DHS client by delivering enterprise-level software licensing and asset management expertise. This role supports software licensing optimization, procurement support, and overall, SAM program effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform Software Licensing Optimization (SLO) and procurement support activities
- Provide expertise on industry-standard software licensing models
- Support management of major software publishers and enterprise licensing agreements
- Assist with software entitlement tracking and compliance activities
- Support the Project Manager in meeting program and contractual requirements
- Ensure alignment with DHS and USCIS operational priorities, systems, and policies
- Provide guidance and recommendations on software asset management best practices
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Public Administration, Information Technology, or a related field
- More than 8 years of experience providing software asset management and licensing expertise
Preferred Skills & Competencies
- Strong Flexera background preferred
- Experience supporting DHS systems preferred
- Knowledge of enterprise software licensing and procurement processes
- Strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills
