We're seeking a Senior Scrum Master to support our client, a leading financial services company, in New York City. This hybrid role requires onsite presence three days per week and the position is a 6-month contract. Join a team dedicated to fostering Agile excellence and delivering impactful projects.
*Senior Scrum Master Responsibilities:*
* Facilitate Agile events and project delivery using Scrum methodologies.
* Mentor and coach Scrum teams to enhance performance and delivery.
* Collaborate closely with Product Owners, delivery leads, and business partners.
* Support the adoption and proficiency of Agile tools like JIRA and Confluence.
* Remove impediments, foster collaboration, and drive continuous improvement.
*Senior Scrum Master Qualifications:*
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
* Scrum Master certification preferred.
* Extensive experience leading Scrum teams, preferably in insurance or financial services.
* Strong technical background, including experience with SDLC and SOA projects.
* Proficiency with AI-enabled tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Ativo, and Microsoft Copilot.
