About the role

We are looking for an individual who will be driving sales growth by achieving annual order targets, executing go-to-market strategies, and developing new business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

As the Senior Sales Engineer, you’ll be responsible for:

  • Take ownership of sales activities and drive performance to achieve the annual order and revenue targets set by the company.
  • Execute go-to-market strategies, identifying new business opportunities and expanding market presence.
  • Prepare and manage sales proposals, tenders, and quotations, ensuring accuracy and timely submission.
  • Handle sales administration tasks, including order processing, documentation, and maintaining accurate sales records.
  • Develop and maintain sales forecasts, providing regular updates on pipeline and business outlook.
  • Conduct regular follow-ups with customers, nurturing relationships and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Reviews project expenditures to ensure the accuracy of all invoices/applications for payment in accordance with purchase order and subcontract terms and conditions. Also ensures that they are processed (approved/authorized) in a timely manner.
  • Updates project schedules and prepares project management correspondences and documents effectively on all aspects of the implementation phases, including customer meeting minutes, team assignments/action item tracking, letters, memorandums, transmittals and RFIs.
  • Acts as the primary contact with customers, develops a professional relationship, and understands the customer needs to meet those within the bounds of contracted scope.
  • Understands and communicates job schedule to all project team members to ensure timely completion of project.
  • Adjusts orders for any changes to the scope for moderate projects.

Requirements:

As a minimum you must have:

  • Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience
  • Has bachelor degree in Engineering, preferably mechanical engineering
  • Experience in sales, business development, or a related commercial role.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and customer management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tenders and proposals simultaneously.
  • Proactive and results-driven with the ability to meet sales targets.
