Senior Sales Enablement Content Specialist

Department: Marketing

Employment Type: Full Time

Location: United States

Reporting To: Larkin McGowan

Compensation: $81,000 - $110,000 / year

Description

We’re looking for a hands-on Senior Sales Enablement Content Specialist who combines strong editorial judgment with the ability to create polished, on-brand sales and marketing assets. This is not a pure writing or journalism role—this person will own content end-to-end, from shaping the narrative to producing visually compelling deliverables.

You’ll partner closely with Sales, Marketing, and Customer teams to develop content that clearly communicates value and helps move deals forward. This is an opportunity to own a critical content function that directly impacts revenue, with the autonomy to build, shape, and scale how content is created and used across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

Content Creation & Storytelling
  • Own the end-to-end development of high-impact sales and marketing content, including customer case studies, one-pagers, solution briefs, sales decks, and campaign assets.
  • Transform complex business and technical concepts into clear, engaging, and structured narratives tailored to target personas and buying stages.
  • Produce content that not only informs but actively supports pipeline generation and deal progression by addressing customer needs, objections, and use cases.
Sales Enablement Assets
  • Build, maintain, and continuously improve a centralized library of sales-ready content that is easily accessible, up-to-date, and aligned to key stages of the sales cycle.
  • Collaborate directly with Sales teams to understand buyer challenges, refine messaging, and create assets that accelerate deal velocity and improve win rates.
  • Ensure content is practical, actionable, and designed for real-world sales usage—enabling teams to tell a consistent, compelling story across engagements.
Content Operations & Management
  • Own and optimize content workflows, from intake and prioritization through production, review, and delivery, using CMS, DAM, or similar tools.
  • Maintain strong version control and governance processes to ensure content remains current, accurate, and easily retrievable.
  • Balance multiple projects and stakeholders, ensuring timely delivery in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
Editing & Quality Control
  • Act as a high-bar editor across all content, ensuring clarity, consistency, accuracy, and alignment with brand voice and messaging guidelines.
  • Establish and maintain content standards, templates, and style guidelines to ensure consistency across teams and deliverables.
  • Provide feedback and guidance to cross-functional partners and contributors to elevate overall content quality.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

  • Exceptional editing and writing skills (clear, concise, structured)
  • Ability to go from rough input → polished, executive-ready output
  • Strong visual instincts—comfortable designing your own assets
  • Experience with content tools (CMS, DAM, or workflow systems)
  • Proficient in:
    • PowerPoint / Google Slides
    • Canva (or similar design tools)
    • Word / Google Docs
      • Bonus: Figma, Web CMS platforms
  • Working Style:
    • Highly self-sufficient and execution-focused
    • Able to manage multiple projects and stakeholders
    • Comfortable operating in fast-paced, ambiguous environments
    • Collaborative, low-ego partner to Sales and Marketing teams
  • What Success Looks Like:
    • Sales teams consistently use and request your content
    • Assets are not just well-written—they’re clear, structured, and visually effective
    • Content library is organized, current, and easy to navigate
    • Messaging becomes sharper and more consistent across all materials
Education and Experience Preferences
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 5–8 years in content marketing, content strategy, or marketing communications
  • Experience creating sales enablement or customer-facing marketing assets
  • Background in B2B or SaaS environments preferred
