The Senior QA Engineer will own quality for the client platform by establishing manual testing processes and documentation. They will also design and maintain automated test suites while collaborating with developers to identify and resolve bugs.
Bamboo Card is a Dubai-based B2B distributor of digital prepaid products and a rewards fulfilment partner to enterprises worldwide. Since 2018 we have built a catalogue of more than 3,500 products across over 80 countries, delivered through our client portal and API. More than 1,000 enterprise clients rely on us to power rewards programmes, employee incentives, customer acquisition campaigns and marketplace inventory. We sit in one of the fastest-growing corners of the payments ecosystem with the banking infrastructure and supplier relationships that make global digital rewards work at scale.
To keep this engine running smoothly, we're currently looking for a remote Senior QA Engineer to own quality on our client platform, starting with hands-on manual testing while we build out documentation and processes, then transitioning into automation-led testing as the role expands across wider team projects.
Take ownership of QA for the client platform, starting with structured manual testing to help establish test documentation, processes, and coverage standards
Design, build, and maintain automated test suites (UI, API, regression) once foundational documentation is in place
Write and maintain clear test plans, test cases, and bug reports
Identify gaps in test coverage and proactively flag risk areas across releases
Collaborate closely with developers and product managers to understand requirements and catch issues early in the development cycle
Triage, reproduce, and track bugs through to resolution
As the team and platform scope grow, contribute QA support across additional projects beyond the client platform
Use AI tools to speed up test case generation, documentation, and repetitive QA work — and know when to rely on judgment instead
5+ years of QA experience, including solid hands-on experience with test automation (e.g. Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or similar)
Comfortable doing manual/exploratory testing when neede. You don't see it as a step down, you understand it's foundational
Experience with API testing (Postman, REST Assured, or similar)
Strong understanding of QA methodologies, test planning, and bug lifecycle management
Detail-oriented with strong written communication — you can document a process clearly for others to follow
Comfortable working in ambiguity and helping shape process, not just follow it
Practical, hands-on experience using AI tools (e.g. Claude) to boost QA productivity
Bonus: experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control (Git)
