The Senior Project Manager will own end-to-end delivery for the Asset Solutions workstream, driving complex IT separation and migration projects. They are responsible for managing fixed go-live dates, maintaining integrated project plans, and fostering high-trust relationships with demanding clients.

POSITION SUMMARY

We are seeking a Senior Project Manager who can walk into a complex, fast-moving environment, take control of the delivery narrative, and turn a demanding client relationship into a collaborative, high-trust partnership.

You will own end-to-end project delivery for the Asset Solutions workstream, reporting into the Creative ITC Programme Manager. This is not a coordination role - you will drive the plan, hold the team and suppliers to account, manage the client relationship at pace, and ensure we hit the fixed go-live date without compromise.

You will inherit a programme already in flight. Your priority is to assess where things stand, close any plan gaps, and rapidly build credibility with a client that expects results. Perception management and delivery confidence are as important as the plan itself.

The programme has grown significantly in scope, with two additional companies now integrating into wider customer solutions/ services. Delivery pace is high, stakeholder expectations are demanding, and a fixed go-live date carrying financial penalty clauses for the client if missed makes execution precision business-critical.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Demonstrable track record of delivering complex IT separation, carve-out, or migration programmes - ideally in an M&A or divestiture context.
  • Experience managing fixed go-live dates with financial consequence - you understand what is at stake and how to protect delivery.
  • Strong background in enterprise IT environments spanning Microsoft 365, identity, cloud, IT infrastructure, and application migration.
  • Experience turning around a programme or client relationship that is under pressure - you've done it before and can do it again.
  • Proven ability to build comprehensive project plans from discovery through to cutover and stabilisation.
  • Confident working at pace across multiple workstreams simultaneously without losing grip on the detail.
  • PRINCE2 Professional or equivalent project management qualification.

KEY JOB ELEMENTS

Delivery & Planning

  • Own and maintain a comprehensive, integrated project plan covering all LLD workstreams — identity, infrastructure, cloud, EUC, M365, applications, data migration, TSA exit, and stabilisation.
  • Manage the fixed drop date as an immovable constraint — build backwards, identify the critical path, and protect it relentlessly.
  • Drive Low-Level Design (LLD) completion across all technical workstreams, ensuring outputs are signed off and ready for execution.
  • Coordinate the integration of two newly in-scope companies into the Asset Solutions delivery plan without derailing the core programme timeline.
  • Manage TSA coexistence, cutover planning, and transition to steady-state operations.
  • Track and close risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies with rigour — RAID log ownership is non-negotiable.

Stakeholder & Client Management

  • Build and sustain a positive, collaborative working relationship with a demanding client environment — turning tension into trust.
  • Provide clear, confident, and honest progress reporting to senior client stakeholders — no surprises.
  • Manage difficult conversations with professionalism, composure, and solutions-focused.
  • Work alongside the Programme Director and internal Creative ITC leadership to maintain strategic alignment and escalation management.

Team Leadership

  • Lead and support a cross-functional delivery team including architects, engineers, and workstream leads.
  • Provide clear direction and prioritisation to team members, including junior PMs who will need day-to-day guidance.
  • Create the conditions for the team to perform under pressure — clear ownership, unblocked paths, and a culture of accountability.

Governance & Reporting

  • Run effective weekly delivery governance including risk and issues forums, programme status reporting, and steering updates.
  • Maintain programme documentation to a high standard — plans, RAID logs, decision logs, status reports.
  • Ensure financial awareness across the workstream in the context of the ~$85M programme TCV.

PERSON SPECIFICATION

  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced delivery environment with multiple competing priorities; highly organised with excellent time management skills.
  • Able to manage and engage effectively with a broad range of stakeholders across technical, operational, supplier, and customer teams.
  • Thrive under pressure when the demands are high and deadlines are tight.
  • Demonstrates strong ownership, accountability, and follow-through, proactively driving actions to completion and removing delivery blockers.
  • Confident working alongside other Project Managers, Programme Managers and Project Coordinators, supporting complex infrastructure, network, and transformation initiatives.
  • Articulate, professional, and confident communicator, both written and verbal.
  • Demonstrates a strong customer-first mindset, consistently delivering a high standard of service and stakeholder engagement.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills; approachable, collaborative, and able to build positive working relationships at all levels.
  • Proactive, adaptable, and solutions-focused with a genuine can-do attitude.
  • Enthusiastic, self-motivated, and capable of working effectively with minimal supervision.
  • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality project documentation, reporting, and governance artefacts.
  • Resilient and capable of maintaining momentum across multiple concurrent projects and demanding delivery schedules.
  • Innovative in approach, with a continuous improvement mindset and willingness to challenge existing ways of working where appropriate.
