Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Program Manager to lead the business-side execution of a large-scale healthcare payer transformation involving the migration from IKA to QNXT. This individual will serve as the primary business liaison between executive leadership, operational stakeholders, IT teams, and system integration partners throughout the implementation lifecycle.

The ideal candidate brings deep health plan operations experience, a proven track record leading enterprise-wide system transformations, and hands-on end-to-end QNXT implementation experience. This role requires strong executive communication, strategic planning, change management, and cross-functional leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead business-side execution for a core administration platform transformation from IKA to QNXT.
  • Serve as the primary point of coordination between business leaders, IT organizations, implementation partners, and system integrators.
  • Drive integrated business planning, milestone management, dependency tracking, and readiness activities across operational domains.
  • Partner with functional leaders to define future-state processes, business requirements, design decisions, and organizational adoption strategies.
  • Ensure transformation efforts move beyond "lift-and-shift" methodologies by identifying opportunities for process optimization and operational improvement.
  • Manage cross-functional risks, issues, and decision-making processes; escalate critical concerns with clear recommendations and options.
  • Lead business readiness activities, including:
    • Change management
    • Training coordination
    • User readiness planning
    • Cutover planning
    • Parallel testing and validation
    • Post-go-live stabilization
  • Provide executive-level reporting and presentations on program status, risks, milestones, and organizational readiness.
  • Collaborate closely with the Program Management Office (PMO) to manage business deliverables, critical path activities, dependencies, and program governance.

Required Qualifications

Professional Experience

  • 10+ years of experience leading large-scale, cross-functional business programs within healthcare insurance or managed care environments.
  • Proven experience serving as a Senior business lead for enterprise system implementations, core administration platform replacements, or transformation initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare payer operational functions, including:
    • Enrollment
    • Claims
    • Billing
    • Provider Operations
    • Clinical Operations
    • Fulfillment
    • Finance
  • Experience managing complex stakeholder groups across business and technology organizations.
  • Demonstrated success leading business readiness, organizational change management, and go-live activities.

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $115.50 - $120.00/hr.
