AI Summary

You will be the first dedicated product hire for user acquisition, responsible for defining the strategy and building products that help developers acquire the right users. You will lead the end-to-end product lifecycle from discovery and hypothesis testing to shipping and scaling new acquisition solutions.

RevenueCat gives app businesses the infrastructure and tools to build, run, and improve their monetization. Since graduating from YC's S18 batch, we've grown into the default monetization platform for mobile.

We're in 50%+ of newly shipped subscription apps, we process $16B+ in annual purchase volume, and we help everyone from a solo developer to the OpenAI mobile team understand and grow their revenue.

We're a remote-first team of 150+ people across 25+ countries, guided by values we actually practice: Customer Obsession, Always Be Shipping, Own It, and Balance.

This isn't the right fit for everyone. The systems you’ll build here manage billions of dollars and touch hundreds of millions of end users, and we don’t take that lightly. You'll be expected to work hard and hold a high bar for what you ship, alongside some of the sharpest, most driven people you've worked with. If that sounds energizing rather than exhausting, keep reading.

The Role

As Senior Product Manager, User Acquisition, you'll explore an important extension of how RevenueCat helps developers grow: helping them not just monetize the users they have, but acquire more of the right users in the first place.

RevenueCat already has several footholds in user acquisition, including our Apple Ads integration and integrations across the attribution and MMP ecosystem. But we're still early in defining what a broader RevenueCat user acquisition product should become. You'll be the first dedicated product hire focused on this space, reporting directly to our product lead for Ads, with significant latitude to shape both the strategy and the products we build.

This is a genuine zero-to-one role. You won't inherit a predetermined roadmap. Your job will be to deeply understand how app developers acquire users today, identify where RevenueCat has an opportunity to solve problems meaningfully better, and turn those insights into products we can test, ship, and scale.

You'll bring real expertise in mobile performance marketing and user acquisition to that process. The opportunity could eventually span attribution and measurement, products built on top of existing acquisition channels, new ways to optimize spend using downstream monetization data, partnerships, advertising infrastructure, or things we haven't considered yet. We have hypotheses, but we're hiring you in part because we want your perspective on which ones are worth pursuing.

RevenueCat has some unusual advantages to build from: relationships with a large ecosystem of app developers, deep visibility into subscription and monetization outcomes, infrastructure already embedded in apps, and a growing advertising business. The challenge is figuring out how those assets can translate into something uniquely valuable for developers trying to grow.

About you:

  • You have 5+ years of experience owning meaningful product or growth decisions end-to-end. Your title may have been Product Manager, founder, growth leader, or something else — what's important is that you've been accountable for deciding what to build and whether it worked.

  • You have deep, hands-on experience with mobile user acquisition—either directly managing and optimizing acquisition for mobile apps, or building products and infrastructure used by mobile acquisition teams. You understand how app developers actually acquire users, measure performance, and make decisions about where to spend their next dollar.

  • You understand the modern mobile acquisition stack, including MMPs and attribution, Apple Ads, Meta and Google advertising products, conversion APIs, and related measurement infrastructure.

  • You can reason clearly about attribution, performance-marketing economics, and privacy. You understand concepts such as CAC, LTV, ROAS, optimization signals, ATT, SKAdNetwork/AdAttributionKit, consent management, and how downstream behavior should influence acquisition decisions.

  • You thrive in zero-to-one environments. You can take a large, ambiguous opportunity, identify the most important unanswered questions, narrow it into product bets, and find pragmatic ways to test those bets before making large investments.

  • You are sufficiently technical to work closely with engineering on integrations, APIs, SDKs, data flows, identity, attribution, and other technical product decisions.

  • You communicate clearly across different audiences and media, particularly in writing.

In the first month, you'll:

  • Spend significant time with developers understanding how they acquire users today, how they evaluate acquisition performance, and where the process is painful, expensive, fragmented, or opaque.

  • Build a deep understanding of RevenueCat's existing acquisition-related products, integrations, data, customer research, and technical capabilities.

  • Build strong working relationships with engineering, design, data, go-to-market, and other product teams whose work intersects with user acquisition.

  • Develop a clear picture of the acquisition ecosystem, the problems RevenueCat is particularly well positioned to solve, and the biggest assumptions we still need to test.

  • Begin forming your own point of view on where RevenueCat could create differentiated value in user acquisition.

Within the first 3 months, you'll:

  • Have narrowed the broad user acquisition opportunity into a small number of concrete product hypotheses, grounded in customer research, market understanding, and RevenueCat's unique advantages.

  • Have a clear recommendation for where we should focus first — and why.

  • Begin validating that direction through prototypes, design partners, technical exploration, lightweight product experiments, or an initial shippable bet.

  • Establish a learning agenda that makes the biggest risks and unanswered questions explicit, and gives us a fast path to increasing or decreasing our conviction.

  • Align senior stakeholders around what we're testing, what we're not pursuing yet, and what evidence would cause us to change direction.

Within the first 6 months, you'll:

  • Have shipped our first substantive user acquisition product bet, or generated enough evidence to decisively change or stop it before making a larger investment.

  • Have real evidence from the market about where RevenueCat can — and cannot — create differentiated value.

  • Be independently driving product discovery, prioritization, and execution for the user acquisition area.

  • Have developed an evidence-backed point of view on the most promising opportunities in the space and what capabilities RevenueCat would need to pursue them.

  • Have turned a broad strategic opportunity into an increasingly focused product direction.

Within the first 12 months, you'll:

  • Have established a clear strategic direction for RevenueCat in user acquisition, supported by customer behavior and product evidence rather than thesis alone.

  • Have shipped meaningful products or experiments that either created measurable value for developers or materially changed our understanding of the opportunity—including changing or killing bets when the evidence didn’t support them.

  • Have a credible longer-term roadmap for turning the strongest early signals into a meaningful RevenueCat product area.

  • Be the primary IC product owner for User Acquisition and the internal domain expert on how app developers acquire, measure, and optimize users.

  • Have helped define how RevenueCat's monetization data, developer footprint, and advertising capabilities can work together to create a differentiated position in app growth.

What we offer:

  • Competitive equity in a fast-growing, Series C startup backed by top-tier investors, including Y Combinator

  • 10-year window to exercise vested equity options

  • A fully remote environment designed around autonomy and flexibility.

  • 4-5 weeks of flexible time off annually

  • Paid desk at a co-working space

  • Workspace budget and continuous learning stipend
