This is both a strategic and operational role: setting product direction while also managing the backlog, writing user stories, defining acceptance criteria, and partnering closely with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead discovery to identify user problems and opportunities using data and research.
• Translate insights into clear product opportunities and prioritize effectively.
• Manage and maintain backlog and roadmap using structured prioritization frameworks.
• Write PRDs, user stories, and acceptance criteria that are clear, testable, and aligned with business objectives.
• Analyze complex business workflows and identify opportunities for product improvements.
• Own medium-to-large product areas and strategic initiatives.
• Lead customer and stakeholder conversations to validate assumptions and solutions.
• Ensure product quality and readiness through collaboration in testing, launch planning, documentation, and release validation.
• Track and measure outcomes post-release to validate impact and identify next steps.
• Develop deep expertise in healthcare credentialing, compliance, and provider lifecycle management.
• Collaborate effectively with distributed engineering, design, and business teams.
• Independently drive product initiatives with limited supervision.
• Demonstrated ability to operate effectively in a highly autonomous environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Product Management, including ownership of SaaS products from discovery through delivery.
• Proven track record of leading initiatives end-to-end, from discovery to launch and adoption.
• Strong experience working with software engineers, product designers, and business stakeholders.
• Deep knowledge of Agile/Scrum and tools such as Jira and Confluence.
• Skilled at balancing competing priorities and short- vs. long-term goals.
• Demonstrated ability to quickly learn complex business domains and translate them into scalable product solutions.
• Experience in analyzing operational workflows and converting business needs into software requirements.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills, with advanced English.

Nice to have: Familiarity with discovery frameworks (e.g., Jobs-to-be-Done, Continuous Discovery), proficiency with collaboration/design tools (Figma, Google Suite, Slack).

Success in the First 90 Days

• Develop a strong understanding of MedTrainer’s products, customers, and healthcare workflows.
• Successfully led at least one initiative from discovery through delivery.
• Build trusted relationships with Engineering, UX, and business stakeholders.
• Demonstrate ownership and sound product decision-making.

• Your experience is primarily in Project Management or as a Scrum Master.
• You prefer focusing only on delivery coordination.

• You are not interested in working hands-on with requirements, testing, and product execution.

We are looking for proven experience in full SaaS product lifecycle ownership.

Salary range: $60,000 MXN - $70,000 MXN
