AI Summary

Own end-to-end design for the OASIS agentic AI platform, from problem framing through launch. Partner closely with Product Management and Engineering to prototype early and establish design standards.

Job Description:

Senior Product Designer

OASIS Platform  ·  DXC Technology

About OASIS

OASIS is DXC’s internal agentic AI platform, built for our delivery workforce. It supports enterprise clients across Infrastructure, Workplace, BPS, Cybersecurity, and Applications. We compete with platforms like Glean, Moveworks, and IBM watsonx Orchestrate, and we’re staking out our own position as an agentic platform that knows where the user is.

About the team

You’ll join a small, cross-functional product team operating with startup energy inside a global company. Product Management, Design, and Engineering work side by side from day one of a problem, not at handoff. You’ll partner with our existing Product Designer and report to the Director of Product Management and User Experience.

The role

We’re looking for a Senior Product Designer to help shape the next chapter of OASIS. You’ll own end-to-end design across major surfaces of the platform, from problem framing through shipped product.

We move fast and prototype fast. The expectation is that you flush out design challenges early in whatever gets you to a working answer fastest, whether that’s Figma, Lovable, code, or a hallway conversation with engineering. We’d rather find the rough edges in a prototype than in a sprint. You’ll set the bar for design quality, push the system forward, and partner closely with PM and Engineering on the most consequential decisions in front of us.

What you’ll do

  • Own end-to-end design for major surfaces of OASIS, from problem framing through launch
  • Prototype early and often to pressure-test ideas before they hit a sprint
  • Partner with PM and Engineering from the start of a problem, not at handoff
  • Run user research with internal users and clients, and use what you learn to ground every decision in a real problem
  • Shape and extend the design system as the platform grows
  • Raise the bar across the design practice and mentor the broader team
  • Influence design process and standards across the team, not just what ships

About you

  • You have 7+ years of product design experience, ideally in B2B SaaS, enterprise platforms, or AI products
  • You bring a portfolio that shows depth in interaction design, information architecture, and visual craft
  • You’re fluent in rapid prototyping across Figma, Lovable, code, or whatever new tool gets the job done, with a track record of using prototypes to resolve design questions early
  • You’re comfortable in ambiguity. You can frame a problem, generate direction, and drive execution without waiting for someone else to set it up.
  • You make complex things feel simple. OASIS has technical and operational users, and you find the clear line through it.
  • You think strategically and you care deeply about craft. You hold long-term vision and pixel-level detail in your head at the same time.
  • You communicate clearly across audiences. You can explain a design rationale to a VP and to an engineer in the same week.
  • You’re curious about agentic AI and conversational UX and have a point of view on where these patterns are heading

Nice to have

  • Background designing for technical or operational users such as engineers, ops leads, or automation specialists
  • Experience with platforms that surface metrics, dashboards, or data-heavy interfaces
  • Experience working closely with researchers and using qualitative and quantitative signal together

How we work

We’re a human-centered design team. No feature enters a sprint without a defined user problem. We move through Discover, Define, Design, and Deliver, with Confluence as the record and Jira as the work. Prototyping is part of how we think, not a polish step at the end.

Compensation at DXC is influenced by an array of factors, including but not limited to the experience, job-related knowledge, skills, competencies, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. A reasonable estimate of the current compensation range for this position is $95,900 - $178,100.

Full-time hires are eligible to participate in the DXC benefit program.  DXC offers a comprehensive, flexible, and competitive benefits program which includes, but is not limited to, health, dental, and vision insurance coverage; employee wellness; life and disability insurance; a retirement savings plan, paid holidays, paid time off.

At DXC Technology, we believe strong connections and community are key to our success. Our work model prioritizes in-person collaboration while offering flexibility to support wellbeing, productivity, individual work styles, and life circumstances. We’re committed to fostering an inclusive environment where everyone can thrive.
