About the role:
As a Senior PHP Engineer, become a part of a cross-functional development team engineering experiences of tomorrow.
Responsibilities:
- Writing clean, maintainable, and efficient PHP code
- Integrating data storage solutions like databases into web applications
- Design and architect enterprise grade applications which are scalable and can handle 10K+ concurrent users
- Creating and implementing robust security measures to protect web applications
- Collaborating with front-end, back-end, and full-stack developers to ensure seamless integration of user-facing elements
- Conducting code reviews, and providing constructive feedback to team members
- Managing project timelines and meeting deadlines consistently
- Optimizing web applications for mobile and cross-browser compatibility
- Providing technical support and troubleshooting issues reported by end users
- Documenting code, processes, and best practices for future reference
- Staying up-to-date on emerging PHP trends and technologies
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in PHP latest version, including its frameworks and libraries (e.g., Laravel and CodeIgniter)
- Strong knowledge in Web technologies like JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, bootstrap, jQuery
- Experience with database systems like MySQL or PostgreSQL
- Familiarity with version control systems, especially Git
- Work experience in OAuth, SSO
- Problem-solving and debugging abilities
- Understanding of web security best practices
- Excellent soft skills like communication and teamwork skills
- Time management and project management abilities
- Continuous learning and adaptability to evolving web technologies
