WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We are actively seeking a Senior Pega Developer with strong hands-on implementation experience to design, develop, and support scalable Pega solutions for our financial services client. This is a delivery-focused role requiring recent experience building enterprise Pega applications, including workflows, case management, integrations, UI development, and production support in complex, Agile-driven environments.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
Reporting to our Delivery Operations Manager, you will design, develop, and enhance Pega applications that align with business requirements, architectural standards, and security controls. Working closely with architects, QA teams, and business stakeholders, you will build and support enterprise Pega solutions, troubleshoot production issues, participate in releases, and ensure applications adhere to Pega guardrails and best practices while delivering high-quality, scalable solutions.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 7–10+ years of IT experience and 5+ years of hands-on Pega development with a strong emphasis on implementation, enhancement, and production support responsibilities.
- Deep hands-on experience developing Pega applications using the Constellation architecture and design system, including at least one production implementation.
- 1+ year of recent, hands-on Constellation development experience strongly preferred
- Experience implementing and extending Pega Customer Service or other Pega Applications using Constellation, including configuring and customizing out of the box UI patterns and functionality.
- Strong understanding of modern web application development concepts and the ability to troubleshoot Constellation UI behavior using browser developer tools.
- Experience with React, component-based UI Development, or Constellation DX components is strongly preferred.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot production issues, resolve defects, support releases, and enforce Pega guardrails and performance best practices.
- Experience with Agile delivery, solution design collaboration, DevOps practices, cloud platforms, and CI/CD environments.
- Experience delivering Pega solutions in large, complex enterprise or government environments preferred.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot production issues, resolve defects, support releases, and enforce Pega guardrails and performance best practices.
- Certified as either a CSSA or LSA needed
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Serve as a Constellation subject matter expert, sharing implementation patterns, troubleshooting techniques, and best practices with other Pega Developers and architects.
- Lead day-to-day Pega development activities, including application configuration, enhancement delivery, defect resolution, and production support.
- Design, develop, configure, and support enterprise Pega applications, with a strong focus on hands-on development, implementation, and production support.
- Build and enhance functionality using Pega Flows, Activities, Data Pages, and Connectors
- Conduct code reviews and ensure compliance with Pega guardrails and development best practices
- Partner with solution architects to meet design, security, and integration standards
- Support application demonstrations, sprint reviews, and stakeholder walkthroughs
- Participate in test execution, defect resolution, and release support
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to support CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes
