The Multimedia Video Editor will support Twoconnect by producing engaging internal, corporate, and short-form social media video content. This role will focus on video editing, AI-assisted production, platform-specific storytelling, audience retention, and content performance across TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and internal communication channels.
- Produce and edit short-form video content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, Facebook, and LinkedIn.
- Develop strong opening hooks, pacing, storytelling, captions, and visual structures designed to improve watch time, audience retention, engagement, and account growth.
- Create internal training videos, onboarding content, FAQs, how-to guides, employee communications, and educational resources.
- Produce corporate and marketing videos including company overviews, service explainers, promotional campaigns, employer branding content, and client-facing communications.
- Use AI-powered video editing, content generation, automation, and enhancement tools to improve production speed, quality, and output.
- Manage the end-to-end video editing process including footage selection, colour correction, audio enhancement, motion graphics, captions, transitions, and final exports.
- Repurpose long-form footage, interviews, webinars, and internal recordings into platform-specific short-form content.
- Develop and test different hooks, formats, lengths, editing styles, and content structures to identify high-performing creative approaches.
- Monitor social media trends, platform algorithms, competitor activity, and emerging video formats.
- Review content performance including views, watch time, retention, engagement, follower growth, and conversion indicators.
- Maintain consistent visual identity, tone, quality, and brand standards across all video content.
- Collaborate with Marketing, People & Culture, and internal stakeholders to convert business ideas and subject matter expertise into clear and engaging video content.
- Manage multiple projects, revisions, content schedules, and deadlines with minimal supervision.
- Maintain organised video libraries, project files, templates, source footage, and final assets.
- Other position-level duties as they arise.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Multimedia Arts, Film, Communications, Marketing, Digital Media, Graphic Design, or a related discipline is preferred.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in video editing, multimedia production, social media content, or a similar creative role.
- Proven experience growing TikTok accounts or short-form social media channels through content strategy, hook development, audience retention, and consistent publishing.
- Portfolio demonstrating measurable short-form video performance, account growth, audience engagement, and strong visual storytelling.
- Mandatory experience using AI-powered video editing, content generation, automation, or post-production tools.
- Advanced proficiency across the Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Audition.
- Strong understanding of TikTok, Instagram Reels, Facebook, LinkedIn, and other short-form content formats and algorithms.
- Strong capability in developing short-form hooks, pacing, captions, sound design, motion graphics, and retention-focused editing.
- Experience producing corporate videos, internal training content, promotional campaigns, and social media assets.
- Ability to interpret video performance data and adjust content, editing, and hook strategies accordingly.
- Strong understanding of aspect ratios, resolutions, compression, export settings, and platform-specific video requirements.
- Strong attention to detail, file management, quality control, and brand consistency.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet agreed deadlines.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience in B2B marketing, employer branding, corporate communications, recruitment, or professional services is highly regarded.
- Proactive, creative, commercially minded, and comfortable working in a fast-paced remote environment.
