Know the design team

As a Motion Designer at ArcTouch, you'll bring digital products and brand campaigns to life through animation and video. From animated banners that drive marketing campaigns to videos for various purposes, you'll shape how international audiences experience our work across platforms used by millions of users every day.

Working with us, you'll get the chance to collaborate with a skilled, fast-paced, and innovative team. You will contribute to different phases of the production process, from concept and storyboard to delivery and handoff, sharing your knowledge with others and boosting your understanding of multiple types of business.

We encourage collaboration through creativity, so we value good communication skills and teamwork, from defining briefs with stakeholders to working closely with developers when motion needs to be implemented in production.

On a typical day with us, you will:

• Design and animate banners and ad creatives for marketing campaigns across web and digital advertising platforms.
• Edit and produce videos for internal communications, brand storytelling, and product showcases.
• Contribute to UX/UI motion when projects require it, designing microinteractions, transitions, and animated prototypes that enhance product experiences.
• Lead and/or participate in group ideation and collaborative creative sessions, providing critiques and support to your colleagues.
• Create concepts, storyboards, animatics, and animated prototypes for client testing and approval.
• Articulate motion design rationale effectively to both internal and external audiences.
• Keep up to date with the latest motion design, video, and animation trends across platforms and tools.
• Create the right documentation for handoff, ranging from final video files and Lottie exports to After Effects source files and detailed motion specifications for developers to implement.
• Learn and share knowledge with your peers during our internal team meetings and ceremonies.

Role expectations:

• Communicate the motion rationales clearly and actively in English, being able to adapt the communication to internal or external stakeholders. Conduct presentations and answer questions from various audiences.
• Use your motion design skills to drive, visualize, and execute creative animation and video work from initial concept to delivery, collaborating with designers and engineers on implementation when required.
• Have a strong strategic thinking approach, being capable of envisioning the lifecycle of their projects and connecting motion decisions with business needs.
• Work cooperatively, and communicate early and often to handle multiple projects with flexibility to change focus quickly.
• Engage actively, suggesting new applications to our business and clients.
• Proactively reach out to share knowledge and contribute with teammates, collaborating to evangelize motion and design within ArcTouch.

REMOTE WORK: This position is remote-friendly. If you miss being in the office, we have a great one in Florianópolis, and you are welcome to work from there whenever you wish. Just a reminder: remote employees must live in Brazil (we hire international professionals only for specific openings).
