Our team is responsible for the end-to-end MES project implementations, which includes both solution analysis (assessment, requirements, process design, solution design) and solution implementation (configuration, development, testing).

We are looking for an ambitious Senior Rockwell Pharmasuite MBR Designer,​ ready to take on new challenges. As industries head towards Manufacturing and Factory Digitalization, MES systems stand in the center of manufacturing excellence.

We are seeking an experienced Senior MES MBR Designer (PharmaSuite / Syncade) to join our Digital Manufacturing team and support a major pharmaceutical client in the development and deployment of Global Master Batch Records (GMBRs). In this role, you will be responsible for translating manufacturing process requirements into compliant, scalable, and efficient electronic batch records within a Manufacturing Execution System (MES) environment.

Working closely with process engineers, manufacturing and quality teams, and MES functional leads, you will ensure that production processes are accurately configured and represented within the MES solution while adhering to GMP standards and global design principles.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and maintain Global Master Batch Records (GMBRs) within Rockwell PharmaSuite, Emerson Syncade, or similar MES platforms.
• Translate manufacturing process maps, procedures, and requirements into MES design and execution logic.
• Ensure consistency and compliance with global templates, standards, and best practices across sites and product families.
• Participate in design workshops and review sessions with business and technical stakeholders.
• Support testing, validation, and deployment activities related to MES recipe and batch record implementations.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, automation, and IT teams to ensure successful solution delivery.
• Identify process, design, or configuration gaps and propose effective solutions and improvements.
• Contribute to the standardization, reusability, and scalability of MES design components.
• Prepare and maintain design documentation in accordance with regulatory and project requirements.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and the evolution of global MES templates and standards.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Life Sciences, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related field.
• Proven experience designing and configuring Master Batch Records (MBRs), recipes, or electronic batch records within an MES environment.
• Hands-on experience with Rockwell PharmaSuite, Emerson Syncade, Werum PAS-X, or similar pharmaceutical MES solutions.
• Strong understanding of pharmaceutical manufacturing processes, including: Weigh & Dispense Compounding Filling Packaging
• Knowledge of GMP, GxP, and 21 CFR Part 11 regulatory requirements.
• Ability to interpret process flow diagrams, workflow specifications, and P&IDs, and translate them into MES configurations.
• Experience working in cross-functional and global project environments.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Professional proficiency in English.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting global MES template or multi-site deployment programs.
• Familiarity with ISA-88 (S88) recipe management principles.
• Experience creating reusable MES templates and standardized design libraries.
• Knowledge of integration with ERP, SCADA, automation, or historian systems.
• Exposure to validation and computerized system compliance activities within pharmaceutical environments.
