Position Summary:
The Senior Medical Science Liaison (MSL) serves as Vericel's scientific and clinical expert for the Orthopedic franchise, providing non-promotional scientific exchange, medical education, and research support to healthcare professionals, investigators, and key opinion leaders (KOLs).
The Senior MSL develops and maintains strategic relationships with nationally and regionally recognized orthopedic experts while serving as a trusted scientific partner to the medical community. Through high-quality scientific engagement, this role generates meaningful medical insights, supports evidence generation, and contributes to the development and execution of Vericel's Medical Affairs strategy.
Working cross-functionally with Clinical Development, Medical Affairs, Commercial, Marketing, Regulatory Affairs, and Research & Development, the Senior MSL helps translate scientific knowledge and field insights into actions that advance patient care, strengthen the Vericel Orthopedic portfolio, and support long-term business objectives.
Location: Northeast, ideal locations include Massachusetts, Connecticut, NY/NJ, Pennsylvania and New Hampshire.

Why Vericel?
The salary range Vericel reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at the time of this posting is $171,000 to $195,000 annually.
The actual salary offered will be determined based on factors such as the candidate’s qualifications, experience, and skills. Bonus, incentive pay, equity and benefits may be provided in addition to the base compensation listed above.
