Duties and responsibilities, as they align to Ryan’s Key Results
People:
Creates a positive, accountable, and collaborative team environment aligned with Ryan’s core values.
Leads, mentors, and develops professionals to ensure high performance and continuous growth.
Manages resource allocation, workload distribution, and performance management.
Creates and executes detailed project workplans, enforcing consistent methodologies and delivery standards.
Coordinates resources, timelines, and budgets across multiple concurrent implementation and innovation initiatives.
Builds strong internal partnerships to support seamless project execution.
Client:
Manages internal and external enterprise tax technology and software implementation projects to completion.
Defines project scope, tasks, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation while maintaining disciplined financial oversight.
Oversees functional and technical direction of projects, including detailed requirements analysis, process design, configuration, system integration, testing, deployment, and client onboarding.
Supports implementation of proprietary data products and enterprise tax automation platforms within the assigned practice or division.
Establishes processes to monitor adherence to project timelines and budgets and communicates variances proactively.
Prepares and reviews client deliverables, documentation, and engagement materials to ensure quality and accuracy.
Maintains master project resource plans and supports billing, forecasting, and financial tracking activities.
Maintains strong client relationships, responds to inquiries, and participates in proposals, engagement agreements, and onsite meetings.

Contributes to Business Process Management, Robotic Process Automation (RPA), Intelligent Document Processing (OCR/ICR), and other automation initiatives.
Ensures operational excellence through disciplined governance, quality controls, financial stewardship, and adherence to Firm standards.
Maintains data integrity, system reliability, and compliance with regulatory and security requirements.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in business, Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
Minimum of 7-10 years of experience leading enterprise software implementations, tax technology projects, or digital transformation initiatives.
Experience in consulting, implementation, enterprise systems, data management, process improvement, or tax-related environments preferred.
Demonstrated success managing complex, multi-workstream engagements in a client-facing environment.
Computer Skills:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Experience working with enterprise systems, databases, reporting tools, project management platforms, or business applications.
Familiarity with project management tools and collaboration platforms preferred.

Experience leading digital transformation or process automation initiatives
Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, Lean, or other structured project methodologies
Certificates and Licenses:
Professional certifications such as PMP, Agile/Scrum certifications, Lean/Six Sigma, CPA, or other relevant industry credentials are preferred.
Valid driver’s license may be required, depending on role assignment.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
This position may directly supervise team members and carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with Firm policies and applicable laws.
