The Senior Manager, Learning & Delivery is responsible for driving the vision, execution, and continuous evolution of learning strategies and capability development. This role involves leading a high-performing team, managing end-to-end learning program lifecycles, and partnering with stakeholders to deliver measurable business outcomes.
Position Overview
The Senior Manager, Learning & Delivery is a strategic leadership role responsible for driving the vision, execution, and continuous evolution of learning and capability development across CDS. The role balances managing responsibilities, learning design, development, and facilitation responsibilities while leading a high-performing team and delivering measurable business outcomes.
*Remote-first, 20-30% travel, collaborative and fast-paced.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute learning strategies aligned with CDS business priorities and organizational objectives.
Lead, coach, and develop learning professionals: instructional designers and training facilitators.
Collaborating with leadership to conduct training needs analysis to identify capability gaps and define learning requirements.
Build learning roadmaps that support onboarding, role readiness, technical upskilling, sales, leadership development, and continuous learning.
Manage end-to-end learning program lifecycles, in collaboration with the Programs Lead, including planning, development, deployment, maintenance, and evaluation.
Cross-functional Collaboration to drive alignment across Learning, Enablement, Curriculum Development, and corporate stakeholder groups.
Establish success metrics and reporting mechanisms to measure program effectiveness and business impact.
Partner with subject matter experts to design engaging and scalable learning experiences.
Oversee the creation of instructor-led training, virtual learning, eLearning, workshops, job aids, knowledge articles, and performance support resources.
Support the coaching and facilitation of other corporate SMEs, as needed
Ensure learning content aligns with adult learning principles and organizational standards.
Establish operational processes, governance models, and best practices for learning delivery.
Continuously improving content based on learner feedback, performance data, and evolving business needs.
Training Delivery Excellence
Lead and facilitate instructor-led and virtual training sessions for employees, managers, and leaders.
Ensure consistent, high-quality learning experiences across all delivery channels.
Lead and coach trainers, facilitators, and contributors to maintain delivery standards and learner engagement.
Manage training schedules, logistics, resources, and stakeholder communications, in collaboration with Programs Lead.
Manage vendor relationships and external learning partners as needed.
Stakeholder Partnership
Serve as a trusted learning advisor to CDS leaders and functional teams.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to prioritize learning initiatives and align resources.
Communicate learning program objectives, benefits, and outcomes to leadership audiences.
Performance Measurement & Continuous Improvement
Monitor program adoption, completion rates, learner satisfaction, knowledge retention, and business outcomes.
Analyze learning data and recommend enhancements to improve effectiveness and efficiency.
Drive a culture of continuous learning and capability development across CDS.
Leverage industry trends, technologies, and best practices to modernize learning approaches.
Qualifications
Experience & Education
Bachelor's degree in Learning & Development, Education, Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business, or related field.
3-5 years of management experience in learning, training, enablement, talent development, or organizational effectiveness.
Experience managing enterprise learning programs and stakeholder relationships.
Strong facilitation and presentation skills across virtual and in-person environments.
Proven experience in instructional design and adult learning methodologies.
Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) administration and learning technologies.
Strong project management and organizational skills.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
