AI Summary

The Senior Manager will lead the development and execution of corporate brand and content strategy, ensuring alignment across all external channels and business units. They will also champion the integration of AI and automation tools to scale content production and support major corporate milestones.

Description

Role Overview

We are seeking a strategic, commercially minded, and creative brand and content strategy leader to lead the development and execution of our corporate brand, content, and external narrative. This role brings the company's brand and content strategy to life across external channels, translating corporate narrative and messaging priorities set by the Director, Corporate Marketing into brand architecture, content programs, and channel execution.

Working closely with the Corporate Communications lead and senior leadership team, this individual leads brand architecture, content strategy, external channel presence and third-party amplification, while ensuring alignment across corporate marketing, communications, investor relations, and commercial marketing activities. The ideal candidate combines strong brand stewardship with exceptional storytelling capabilities and experience supporting organizations through significant business milestones, increased market visibility, and enterprise-scale corporate initiatives.

This is an enablement role as much as a stewardship one: the ideal candidate is fluent in how AI and automation are changing content creation and is energized, not threatened, by that shift — bringing new tools and ways of working to the function so the team can create better content, faster, and at greater scale.

Key Responsibilities

Brand Strategy and Governance

  • Own and evolve the company's brand architecture, positioning, and identity system.
  • Develop and maintain brand standards, governance frameworks, templates, and brand enablement across the organization.
  • Ensure consistent application of brand identity, messaging, and visual standards across all external touchpoints.
  • Act as the steward of the corporate brand, driving alignment across functions, regions, and business units.

Content Strategy, Storytelling, and External Channels

  • Develop and execute the company's external content strategy across owned, earned, and shared channels, in service of the corporate narrative and priorities set by the Director, Corporate Marketing, building those channels and programs as required.
  • Translate corporate messaging frameworks — owned by the Director, Corporate Marketing — into narrative platforms and strategic storytelling themes for brand and content programs.
  • Create compelling content that strengthens brand awareness, market differentiation, and stakeholder engagement, and drive continuous improvement in channel effectiveness and engagement.
  • Establish content governance, editorial planning, and performance measurement frameworks, and identify opportunities to elevate executive and corporate narratives through integrated content programs.

AI, Automation, and Content Enablement

  • Champion the adoption of AI-enabled tools and workflows across brand and content programs, treating new technology as a lever for speed, quality, and scale rather than a risk to manage.
  • Partner closely with the Marketing Services team, who own creative and content execution, to embed new tools, technologies, and automated workflows directly into day-to-day brand production without proportional growth in headcount or spend.

Acquired Brand Integration

  • Support execution of the corporate marketing acquisition integration playbook, owned by the Director, Corporate Marketing, including partnering across Marketing, Communications, Product Marketing, HR, and Leadership teams to ensure coordinated delivery.
  • Ensure corporate marketing initiatives are effectively integrated across communications, brand, public affairs, and stakeholder engagement programs.
  • Establish processes, operating models, and performance metrics that mature organizational delivery against strategic objectives.
  • Partner across Marketing, Communications, Product Marketing, HR, and Leadership teams to ensure coordinated execution.

Corporate Communications Partnership

  • Partner closely with the Corporate Communications lead to maintain consistency between internal and external messaging and brand expression.
  • Support the development of external executive communications, corporate announcements, reputation-building initiatives, and key organizational messaging.
  • Own corporate "About Us" content and narrative across web and external materials, ensuring alignment with brand and content strategy.
  • Align brand strategy with broader corporate reputation and stakeholder engagement objectives.

Strategic Business Readiness and Stakeholder Engagement

  • Support senior leadership on strategic corporate readiness initiatives.
  • Draft and produce communications materials and stakeholder engagement assets in support of corporate readiness initiatives owned by the Director, Corporate Marketing.
  • Partner with Communications, Finance, Legal, and external advisors to ensure messaging is aligned, coordinated, and compliant with evolving business requirements.

Team Leadership

  • Lead, align goals and deliverables, and develop a growing team of direct reports.
  • Manage brand specialist contractors, creative partners, agencies, and strategic vendors.
  • Foster a high-performing, collaborative culture focused on quality, innovation, and measurable business impact.

  • Experience effectively partnering with senior executives and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Strong understanding of corporate messaging, reputation management, and stakeholder communications.
  • Exceptional writing, storytelling, and editorial leadership skills.
  • Experience supporting organizations through major corporate milestones and business transformation initiatives.
  • Experience managing agencies, creative vendors, and distributed teams.
  • Hands-on experience using AI-enabled tools and automation to scale content or brand programs, and a track record of driving that adoption within a team.
