The Role

As our internal Atlassian architect, you will transform our Jira environment into a high-performance engine that fuels global productivity. You are the bridge between complex business needs and seamless digital workflows, ensuring our teams spend less time on admin and more time innovating.

Key Responsibilities

  • Architect sophisticated workflows and automation rules that eliminate manual overhead and accelerate team velocity.

  • Lead JSM excellence by acting as the strategic partner for internal departments to deliver a top-tier service desk experience.

  • Drive data-driven decision-making by building high-level dashboards and custom JQL reports that provide real-time project health visibility.

  • Enforce platform hygiene through regular audits and governance standards to prevent configuration drift and maintain system performance.

  • Standardize the Atlassian ecosystem, ensuring custom fields, permission schemes, and integrations stay lean and scalable.

  • Consult with leadership to translate organizational goals into technical configurations that support our rapid global growth.

Qualifications

  • Deep technical expertise in Jira Cloud/Data Center administration and Atlassian Marketplace integrations.

  • Mastery of JQL and advanced automation logic to solve complex process bottlenecks.

  • Proactive ownership mindset with a track record of improving system health before issues arise.

  • Strong communication skills to translate technical logic into clear solutions for non-technical stakeholders.

  • Official Atlassian Certifications.

  • Experience in scaling Jira within high-growth tech scale-ups.

  • ITIL 4 Certification (valuable)
