We are looking for a Java Engineer with experience in Spring Boot, APIs, microservices, card issuance, payment processing, transactions, settlement, reconciliation, SQL, Kafka, and event-driven systems.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of professional software engineering experience.
- Direct experience building or operating card issuance systems. General fintech or payments experience alone is not sufficient.
- Strong backend engineering fundamentals and experience building APIs or microservices.
- Production Java and Spring Boot experience is strongly preferred.
- Working knowledge of card lifecycle concepts and the roles of processors, BIN sponsors, and schemes.
- Experience with relational databases and asynchronous messaging or event-driven systems.
- Ability to contribute to modern frontend applications using JavaScript or TypeScript.
- Clear communication and the ability to work independently in a remote, India-hours setup.
