As a Senior Software Engineer on our Integrations team, you will help build, scale, and maintain the core engine of our logistics platform. Our team owns the Delivery Creation and Lifecycle domain, designing the systems that power our operations and partner integrations from order placement to final milestone.
We operate in a highly distributed, event-driven microservices environment using Domain-Driven Design (DDD) to build clean, efficient data flows. This role offers an exciting mix of greenfield innovation and modernization: you will architect completely new services from scratch while strategically modernizing and decomposing our existing legacy systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain software solutions for our logistics integration platform, ensuring high performance, scalability, and reliability
  • Actively contribute to the design and evolution of our Delivery Lifecycle domain using DDD principles
  • Develop and maintain both synchronous HTTP APIs and asynchronous event-driven integrations
  • Apply your understanding of event-driven architectures and microservices to build a scalable and maintainable platform (EDA and DDD)
  • Design and implement seamless integrations with internal APIs
  • Ensure the quality and stability of your code through thorough testing and adherence to best practices
  • Choose and implement the right tool for the job, working across both Relational (SQL) and NoSQL databases
  • Partner with product managers and other engineering teams to seamlessly integrate downstream and upstream logistics workflows

Requirements:

  • Strong experience in software development with a proven track record of building and deploying scalable applications
  • Solid understanding and experience with Java and the Spring Boot ecosystem
  • Deep understanding of messaging patterns, event streaming (Kafka), and queue management (SNS/SQS)
  • Proven ability to design and implement RESTful APIs and integrate with external APIs
  • Experience with event-driven architectures and microservices
  • Understanding of database concepts and experience working with various database systems
  • A champion for clean code and applying DDD concepts to break down complex business domains
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Fluency in English

Desirable:

  • Prior experience in the Logistics, Supply Chain, or Last-Mile Delivery domains
  • Hands-on experience with AWS cloud-native deployments (CI/CD pipelines, IAM, ECS/EKS)
