This position will play an important leadership role in Mayo Clinic Finance's execution of its Digital Strategy. A key component of the Digital Strategy is data, analytics, and reporting. The successful candidate must be able to bring data analytics projects to successful conclusion by performing analytics solution development as well as guiding fellow team members on task completion. The ability to direct the development of a portfolio of ongoing projects as well as exercise good judgement on when to discontinue analytic projects is also essential.
Key responsibilities for this role include:
• Provide thought leadership for designing visual solutions for storytelling using end user visualization tools
• Managing the portfolio of analytics and visualization projects under development by their assigned team
• Lead or advise large analytics projects through all project stages
•Collaborate with other internal Data and Analytics teams to accelerate solution development
• Establish best practices related to data analytics and visualization
• Train and mentor Finance staff on how to develop analytics and visualization solutions
• Guide the development of standardized processes for data acquisition and consumption for analytics and visualization solutions
•Build, optimize, and maintain analytical models
•Automate and develop reusable, self-service analytical tools and reports
