  • Ensure best practices for performance, security, and maintainability

  • Automation & Observability

  • Extend automation using tools like: Quicksilver (event-driven workflows), Messaging integrations (e.g., Google Chat notifications)

  • Improve visibility into system health, deployment outcomes, and failures

Core Requirements:

  • 3–6+ years experience with Drupal (8/9/10) and PHP Experience working with Pantheon hosting platform

  • Hands-on experience with:
    Terminus CLI
    MultiDev workflows
    Upstream-based Drupal architectures
Strong experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or similar)

  • Comfortable debugging across:
    Application code
    Deployment pipelines
    Hosting/platform environments

  • Systems & Engineering Mindset

  • Experience working in multi-site or multi-tenant architectures

  • Strong understanding of:
    Version control (Git)
    Deployment strategies (canary, phased rollouts)
    Environment management (dev/test/prod isolation)
Ability to work across both application code and infrastructure workflows

Nice-to-Have (Bonus Skills):

  • Frontend experience with:
    Vue.js
    TypeScript

  • Scripting or backend experience with:
    Node.js or Python

  • Experience with:
    Accessibility standards (WCAG, VPAT)
Search platforms (e.g., MongoDB Atlas Search, vector search, RAG systems)
Familiarity with release automation patterns (auto-generated changelogs, commit parsing, etc.)

What Success Looks Like:

  • CI/CD pipelines are stable, fast, and require minimal manual intervention

  • Deployments across 400+ sites are predictable and low-risk
