ABOUT THE ROLE

Tekmetric is hiring a Sr. Director of GTM Operations & Strategy to help architect the next generation of our go-to-market engine.

This role sits at the intersection of strategy, operations, analytics, systems and AI. Reporting directly to the SVP of Revenue, you will serve as a trusted business partner responsible for helping design how Temetric acquires, grows and retains customers at scale. This is not a traditional Sales Operations role.

The GTM landscape is changing rapidly. AI is reshaping seller productivity, operational workflows, forecasting, planning and customer engagement. We believe the next generation of GTM leaders will combine strong business acumen, analytical rigor, operational excellence, and AI fluency to build organizations that move faster, make better decisions, and operate more efficiently. You will help define that future at Tekmetric.

You will own the operating system that powers our revenue organization- from forecasting and performance management to territory design, capacity planning, AI adoption, systems architecture and executive decision support. You will translate strategy into execution while ensuring leadership has the insight and infrastructure needed to scale. 

WHAT YOU'LL OWN

  • GTM strategy & Business Partnership. Serve as a strategic advisor to the SVP of Revenue, VP of Marketing and GTM leadership team. Build the analytical frameworks that help leadership determine where to invest, where to optimize and where to scale. Partner on critical business decisions including territory design and market coverage, capacity and organizational design, market segmentation & account strategy, pricing & packaging strategy, product launch readiness, expansion & monetization strategy, annual planning and investment decisions.
  • Revenue Planning & Forecasting. Own the operating rhythm of the business. Forecast accuracy and predictability, pipeline health and conversion analysis, QBRs, board and executive reporting, performance analysis and leading indicator identification. Make the numbers trustworthy, the cadence sharp, and the insight actionable.
  • GTM Operating Model Design. Help define how Tekmetric's GTM organization evolves over the next 2-3 years. Bring a point of view on how high-performing GTM organizations should operate, not simply how they operate today. Lead design of territory and ownership models, lead routing and coverage, sales capacity planning, expansion ownership models, and compensation and incentive alignment.
  • AI & Revenue Innovation. Lead Tekmetric's GTM AI strategy. Identify opportunities to increase seller productivity, improve forecasting accuracy, automate operational workflows, accelerate decision-making, enhance customer and prospect engagement and reduce manual reporting and analysis. Develop a roadmap for where AI agents, automation and human expertise should intersect across the GTM organization. Ability to articulate what GTM Operations looks like in 2028-not just administer what it looks like today.
  • Data, Analytics & Systems. Own the GTM data ecosystem and technology strategy. Ensure our systems create competitive advantage rather than operational burden. Responsibilities include Salesforce and governance, GTM system architecture, data quality and reporting standards, KPI definitions and measurement frameworks, analytics and dashboard strategy, and AI-enabled tooling and integrations. Partner with engineering and data on the architecture decisions that compound over time.
  • Cross-functional Partnership. Drive alignment through shared metrics, operating cadences, planning processes, and accountability frameworks. Be the connective tissue between strategy and execution. Partner closely with Marketing, Sales, Sales Development, Business Development, Enablement, Data & Analytics and Product Leadership to build the dashboards and rituals that get them rowing in the same direction.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

  • Strategic & Analytical Excellence. You spent formative years somewhere with a high analytical bar — investment banking, MBB or comparable consulting, private equity, growth equity, or an elite corporate strategy program. Ability to build complex business models from first principles. Strong understanding of SaaS economics and growth drivers. Experience supporting executive-level decision making.
  • Builder Mentality. You've built something. Founded a company, was an early-stage operator, ran a P&L, or were a Chief of Staff embedded in the messy work of scaling. You thrive in ambiguity. Identify opportunities before being asked. Operate with urgency and ownership. Balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
  • GTM Operating Experience. You're currently working with the revenue engine — Strategic Finance partnering with GTM, BizOps, Strategy & Operations, RevOps at a high-bar SaaS company, or a CoS role to a CRO/CEO. You understand pipeline mechanics at a working level. Proven ability to build systems, processes and operating rhythms that scale.
  • AI Fluency. You can articulate, specifically, how AI and agentic tooling are reshaping GTM operations — and you have an opinion about how Tekmetric should respond. Not buzzwords. A thesis.
  • Executive Presence. You can build and lead a multi-disciplinary team (analytics, systems, ops) and partner credibly with a CFO and a Head of Revenue. Strategic thinker who rolls up sleeves. Able to challenge assumptions and drive thoughtful debate.
  • 8+ years of professional experience overall; 3+ in a leadership seat. Title path matters less than the shape of the work.

WHAT WE'RE EXPLICITLY NOT REQUIRING

A linear Sales Ops career. A particular set of Salesforce certifications. 15 years of running pipeline reviews. We are hiring for analytical horsepower, operator instinct, and an opinion about the future over a long tenure inside the traditional function.
