OVERVIEW:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Digital Marketing & Creative Specialist to become a dedicated extension of our New Zealand team. This is a hands-on role requiring someone who can confidently manage both the creative and performance marketing functions across multiple brands.

Initially, you will support two established New Zealand businesses, with the opportunity to expand into a third premium skincare brand as the business grows. Your time will be allocated across each business, with clear expectations and priorities.

This is not a junior marketing coordinator role—we're looking for someone who can think strategically, execute independently, analyse performance, and continually optimise campaigns to improve results.

Initially, you'll support two established New Zealand businesses, with the opportunity to expand into a third premium skincare brand as the business grows.

You will provide marketing support across:

  • A premium cookware and e-commerce business
  • A New Zealand insurance business
  • A premium skincare brand (future support)

Your time will be allocated across each business, with clear expectations and priorities, ensuring each business receives dedicated strategic and operational marketing support.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Digital Advertising

  • Build, launch and manage META advertising campaigns (Facebook & Instagram)
  • Monitor campaign performance and optimise for ROAS, CPA, CTR and conversions
  • Conduct audience testing, A/B testing and creative testing
  • Recommend budget allocation and scaling opportunities
  • Produce clear monthly performance reports with actionable recommendations

Google Ads

  • Manage Google Ads campaigns including:
    • Search (SEM)
    • Performance Max (P-Max)
  • Optimise keywords, bidding strategies and budgets
  • Improve campaign performance and ROI
  • Monitor conversion tracking and reporting

Social Media Management

Manage both paid and organic content across:

  • Facebook
  • Instagram
  • LinkedIn
  • TikTok
  • Pinterest
  • Snapchat

Responsibilities include:

  • Content scheduling
  • Community engagement
  • Organic growth strategies
  • Campaign planning
  • Platform optimisation
  • Performance reporting

Email Marketing (Klaviyo)

  • Design professional EDMs
  • Build and schedule campaigns
  • Create customer segmentation
  • Develop automation workflows including:
    • Welcome Series
    • Cart Abandonment
    • Browse Abandonment
    • Post Purchase
    • Win Back Campaigns
  • Report on campaign performance and recommend improvements

Shopify Website Management

  • Update products and collections
  • Manage landing pages
  • Upload creative assets
  • Maintain promotions and campaigns
  • Assist with website merchandising
  • Ensure content is current and visually engaging

Graphic Design & Creative

Create high-quality creative assets for both print and digital, including:

  • Social media graphics
  • Paid advertising creatives
  • Website banners
  • Email graphics
  • Product marketing collateral
  • Brochures and flyers
  • Digital marketing assets for multiple brands

Applicants must provide a professional design portfolio showcasing previous work and brands they have supported.

AI & Marketing Technology

Leverage AI tools to improve efficiency and creativity, including:

  • Content creation
  • Ad copy generation
  • Image generation and editing
  • Workflow automation
  • Campaign ideation
  • Productivity improvements

Experience with tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Midjourney, Canva AI, or similar is highly regarded.

  • Excellent branding and layout capability
  • Strong understanding of creative for digital marketing
  • Ability to produce assets across multiple channels and business types

Ideal Candidate

We're looking for someone who:

  • Has 5+ years' experience in digital marketing and creative design.
  • Has managed multi-channel digital marketing campaigns across paid and organic platforms.
  • Has experience supporting e-commerce and/or consumer-facing businesses.
  • Is equally comfortable designing creative assets and analysing campaign performance.
  • Has advanced experience with META Ads, Google Ads, Klaviyo and Shopify.
  • Can confidently provide strategic recommendations—not just execute tasks.
  • Has excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Is highly organised and capable of managing multiple brands and competing priorities.
  • Understands and actively uses modern AI tools to improve marketing outcomes.
  • Is proactive, commercially minded, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
