Position Overview: AMC is seeking a dynamic and strategic Brand Partnerships Manager to drive the growth and success of our corporate partnerships portfolio. This role is pivotal in enhancing our organization's visibility, deepening engagement with our community, and supporting our conservation mission through collaborative partnerships. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of marketing acumen, partnership development expertise, and a passion for outdoor recreation and conservation.
The Brand Partnerships Manager will be responsible for recruiting and prospecting new partners, executing agreements, stewarding relationships with partners, proactive outreach to current partners to ensure close communication, and aligning opportunities for partners to engage in AMC campaigns and programming.
In addition, the Brand Partnerships Manager will work closely with the Membership Team, cultivating relationships that help to grow and benefit our community. This person will be hands-on with key membership related initiatives including managing and mentoring AMC’s Membership Coordinator and supporting the development and deployment of member communications.
What You'll Be Doing at AMC

Develop and Manage Partnerships: Identify, cultivate, secure, and manage strategic partnerships with mission-aligned brands to advance AMC’s mission and expand our reach.
Program Planning: Help to evolve and advance partnership strategies that align with AMC’s goals and enhance our community engagement and mission impact.
Collaborative Coordination: Work closely with AMC’s development, conservation, lodging, marketing, membership, merchandise, and other teams to integrate partnership initiatives into broader organizational strategies.
Content and Communication: Collaborate with the Growth Team to develop compelling content that highlights the value and impact of partnerships.
Activations and Events: Work with brand partners to create or partner on events that meet the demands of partners and enhance the visibility of AMC. In addition, collaborate with AMC teams (development, trails, programs, etc.) to develop brand partner volunteer events.
Partnership Metrics: Analyze and report on partnership initiatives, using insights to refine strategies and drive continuous improvement.
Membership Support: Help ensure that the brand partnership strategy aligns with how AMC delivers value to its network of 90,000+ members. The Brand Partnerships Manager will be a key thought partner and collaborator in helping AMC deliver on ambitious membership growth targets as part of its strategic plan.
Management: Directly supervise AMC’s Membership Coordinator, supporting their work, providing membership, and participating in key membership related initiatives.
Qualifications: What AMC is Looking for
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in brand partnerships, marketing, or related roles, with a proven track record in developing and managing successful partnerships.
Strong understanding of digital marketing, content strategy, and partnership management.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders.
Experience in nonprofit or cause-related marketing is highly desirable.
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to manage multiple projects with minimal direction in a remote setting.
Experience with membership communications and crafting customer journeys.
Passion for the outdoors and commitment to conservation and social impact.
Comfort with standard software programs. Experience with Salesforce is a plus.
High level of self-awareness, humility, interpersonal skills, humor, and emotional intelligence.
What AMC Can Offer You
Salary: $594,00 - $75,000
We are committed to fair compensation practices, and we encourage qualified candidates to apply. The initial salary represents our starting point, and our compensation philosophy is designed to reward and recognize the contributions of our employees as they grow within the organization. External candidates typically begin their journey with us at the starting point of the salary range. The final compensation offer will be based on factors such as experience, education, skills and geographic differential relevant to the position, and will be discussed during the interview process.
