In this role, you will be the technical cornerstone for migrating enterprises from various source environments (including Microsoft 365, on-premises Exchange, Box, Dropbox, and file servers) into Google Workspace.
The ideal candidate possesses deep architectural knowledge of cloud ecosystems, an expert-level command of industry-standard migration utilities—specifically Movebot and CloudM—and the leadership skills required to guide clients through seamless technical transitions.
Lead the end-to-end technical execution of complex data migration projects into Google Workspace.

Perform deep-dive discovery and source-environment assessments to identify potential data fidelity risks, permission mapping complexities, and scale challenges.
Develop robust mapping strategies for identity, mail, calendars, contacts, and complex hierarchical file structures.
Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for cloud-to-cloud and on-premise-to-cloud migration methodologies.
Define best practices, repeatable deployment frameworks, and automation scripts to continuously improve delivery efficiency.
Troubleshoot advanced infrastructure, API throttling, network bottlenecks, and data delta sync failures.
Collaborate closely with project managers, account executives, and client technical teams to align deployment timelines and technical prerequisites.
Translate complex technical concepts, migration risks, and cutover strategies into clear, actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders.
Provide tier-3 escalation support during critical cutover windows.
Proven Track Record: Minimum 5+ years of experience engineering and executing enterprise-level IT deployments and cloud migrations.
Google Workspace Expertise: Deep technical knowledge of Google Workspace administration, directory synchronization (GCDS), API limits, and service account architecture.
Migration Tool Mastery: Advanced, hands-on experience configuring and managing Movebot and CloudM at scale. Candidates must demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of these tools' specific optimization parameters, error handling, and reporting features.
Source Environments: Strong proficiency migrating data from Microsoft 365 / Exchange, SharePoint, OneDrive, Box, Dropbox, and local network file shares.
Scripting & Automation: Proficiency with command-line tools (e.g., Gam/GamADV-XTD3) and scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell) to automate bulk administrative tasks and custom migrations.
Google Cloud Certified Professional Google Workspace Administrator.
Google Cloud Certified Professional Cloud Architect.
Strong foundational understanding of networking concepts (DNS, MX records, SPF/DKIM/DMARC, firewalls).
Analytical Problem Solving: Ability to dissect complex error logs and API responses to isolate and remediate migration blockers efficiently.
Data Fidelity Focus: An obsession with maintaining metadata integrity (permissions, timestamps, authorship) across disparate systems.
Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build trust with enterprise IT executives and technical peers alike.
