The role

As a Senior Data Analyst at Solflare, you’ll dive deep into data to uncover insights and trends that help us make better decisions about our product and its growth. You’ll work closely with product managers, engineers, and other teams to turn complex, raw data into clear and actionable insights. Your work will directly influence important decisions, from improving existing product features and identifying opportunities for new ones to shaping our market expansion strategy.

What makes analytics at Solflare particularly interesting is the depth and variety of data available to us. Since blockchain data is public, we can analyze user behavior at the individual transaction level across the wider Solana ecosystem, not just within Solflare. This means that a user’s journey does not necessarily start when they first open or create a Solflare wallet. Blockchain data allows us to understand parts of their activity before they become a Solflare user, including which wallets and protocols they used, how they transacted, where their assets moved, and how their behavior changed after adopting Solflare.

Analyzing the blockchain gives us the opportunity to answer questions that traditional product analytics often cannot. We can track market shares, explore how users interact with competing companies, where assets are moving, and which products or behaviors are gaining traction across the ecosystem.

By combining this on-chain information with our off-chain product data, such as app activity, event tracking, and internal user data, we get a uniquely rich view of the full user journey. You might investigate what users do on-chain after using Solflare, identify behavioral patterns connected to retention or churn, or uncover opportunities for new products, features, and integrations.

Core responsibilities:

• Data collection: You’ll gather data from a variety of sources (databases, APIs, spreadsheets) and ensure it’s accurate, complete, and relevant to the business questions at hand.
• Data preparation: Actively contributing to our data pipeline, building and maintaining the transformation logic that turns raw data into analysis-ready datasets.
• Exploratory analysis: Use statistical techniques and data visualization to uncover trends, patterns, and correlations in the data. This will help guide the team in making data-driven decisions.
• Reporting & visualization: You’ll create clear and insightful dashboards, reports, and charts, making it easy for stakeholders to understand the findings and take action.
• Collaboration with teams: Work alongside product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to define key metrics and provide data-driven recommendations that shape the product roadmap.
• Data integrity: Ensure that the data is secure, well-documented, and accessible to those who need it most.

Qualifications

Requirements:

• Experience: 5+ years of experience in data analysis or engineering involving large amounts of different types of data
• Statistical analysis: Experience with hypothesis testing, A/B testing, and other statistical methods.
• Programming & data manipulation: Proficiency in at least one programming language for data cleaning, transformation, and analysis.
• SQL: Strong skills in writing and optimizing SQL queries to extract and aggregate data from databases.
• Data visualization tools: Experience with business intelligence tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or similar.
• AI-assisted development: Experience integrating AI tools (e.g. Claude Code) into your engineering workflow for faster iteration and higher-quality output
• Spreadsheets: Solid experience using Excel or Google Sheets for quick analysis and pivot tables.
• ETL & data workflow: Basic understanding of ETL processes and tools to move data from different sources into a usable format.

Nice to have:

• Fintech/banking/insurance industry experience
• Experience with processing blockchain data (e.g. using data from Dune, Solscan, etc.).
