Senior Data Analyst

xScion is seeking a Data Analyst - File Integration Migration to support a large-scale file integration migration program as an organization transitions file-transfer workloads to the cloud. This role is primarily responsible for discovering, validating, and documenting file endpoints, dependencies, and business requirements so migration work can be executed accurately and efficiently.

As a Data Analyst, You Will:

• Work with business owners, technical SMEs, and product owners to identify source and target file endpoints
• Validate file flow details, schedules, owners, formats, dependencies, and business rules
• Translate incomplete or inconsistent business input into clear migration requirements
• Document hybrid-state dependencies where one application has moved to the cloud and another remains on-prem
• Support backlog grooming and prioritization by helping classify flows by size, complexity, completeness, and criticality
• Join daily scrum and ongoing planning sessions with internal teams and vendor engineers
• Maintain accurate tracking artifacts for file inventories, requirements, assumptions, risks, and open questions.
• Support acceptance criteria definition and migration readiness reviews.
  

To Be Successful, You Need: 

• Permanent Residency or US Citizenship
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business IT Management or equivalent practical experience  
  
• Experience as a business or data analyst in integration, migration, or file-transfer environments.
• Strong requirements gathering and validation skills
• Ability to work with technical and non-technical stakeholders to reconcile conflicting information
• Familiarity with cloud environments and modern integration concepts
• Strong documentation and communication skills.

Nice to Have:

• Experience supporting cloud migration or file integration programs
• Familiarity with AWS, Terraform, Python, or managed file transfer concepts
• Experience in regulated or highly controlled environments
• Exposure to Sterling File Gateway or similar file-transfer platforms.
